Yeah, same as mine. I still have the update server URL in the upgrade section (with the upgrade now button unchecked) but I haven't receive any sort of firmware up date notification and I do connect my box via wifi.

Hmmm..not sure but I do watch HyppTV with this box, so far still okay wor. So far no auto-firmware update request even I didnt delete the update URL prior to this.

My box updated by itself. Playstore gone, es file explore also gone. Luckly kodi still there.

I tried browser go to playstore website it show chrome/firefox installed, es file explore and a few other file browser installed.

So I cannot install those program anymore. It say installed but not in the box.

Mine is updated too and now the Google Playstore gone, only Kodi still there. Not sure if next update will remove Kodi or not. Also can't disable the auto update as the maintenance code change already. Hope that in future somebody can provide a hack to both firmware and maintenance code.

What is diff before and after upgrade the Unifi firmware? Better viewing? I only watch HyppTV and not using any app in unifi box.

Increased lock down, apps install prevention and apps removal. PQ looked the same. Prior to updating, there used to be an occasional and very brief "lag" during live TV. Will check later in the day if that has been improved.

Interesting.. Seems like they figured Kodi is safe to keep, but having the Play Store and File explorers instead posed potential issues.

i got it but still cant open other apps that require a internet connection. only can watch hypptv.

Haha...Then I have got not choice lor...get another cheap TV box lor.
So i can use all my preferred apps in it.

I already have my own new box and this white box is my spare box at my sister's house. I think mine will not be updated...

How about your case? Apps still can be used?

Mine.. No file explorer or playstore to install apps.. Browser still claims "unsupported download" to download from apkmirror. Even entering the exact download link for Es File Explorer in the browser results in the same error.

they really lock it this time... kudos tm... kudos...

Imagine those whom have paid to hack their boxes.....hmm

rather buy new android box than paid to hack the white box..

Woohoo. I supposed you have ES File Explorer earlier?
