I understand your point. smile.gif

I could be wrong, but if I transfer money from JustOne Personal Savings Account via IBFT, I will not get free IBFT. Perhaps, as Ramjade said, transfer money from JustOne Personal Current Account via IBFT, to get free IBFT.

I am making a comparison to Ambank True Savers and Transact Accounts. From JustOne Personal Savings Account, we can have unlimited withdrawal and transfer to the JustOne Personal Current Account.

Yeah, the interest of JustOne Personal Savings Account is much lower than Ambank True Savers account. But, who cares, since our concern is free IBFT? rclxms.gif

No worries. Yeah, it is better on the safe side. I have been using free IBFT offered by Hong Leong Connect, but the free IBFT is valid till end of this year. Free IBFT by JustOne Personal Account is thus very useful for me.

No annual fee is not explicitly mentioned in Fees and Charges terms and conditions https://www.sc.com/global/av/my-scbmb-fees-...let-28sep16.pdf.

Page 17 showing the annual fee for debit card does not state the exclusion for JustOne Personal Account. it just states that: "No Debit / ATM Card for JustOne Savings Account". confused.gif

Regarding the minimum amount of money needed to open this JustOne Personal Account, it is mentioned in Page 4 and 8 that no minimum deposit is required. It is definitely cunning for SC Officers to demand RM 1500 for account opening. bangwall.gif

Maybe, I should not trust so much on the terms and conditions. In short, I should trust you all, for sure. thumbup.gif

You can take advantage of the free IBG or IBFT from your JustOne Personal Savings Account too. Free IBG and IBFT work on both JustOne Personal Current Account and JustOne Personal Savings Account. I've been doing this for years smile.gif

I have been taking advantage of Hong Leong Connect free IBFT since they started this a few months ago. I hope they will extend this free IBFT to end of next year biggrin.gif

Officially there is no minimum initial deposit required for the opening of JustOne account. Just like my old Standard Chartered e$aver account that I opened back in late 2007, I opened the account with RM0 and even back then, their debit card was already annual fee free. To those of you who didn't know, e$aver was the first high interest bearing savings account and they were giving 8% cash back for all petrol transaction which was very useful back then due to the sudden RM1 increase in petrol price during Pak Lah administration under the advice of our current PM.

Anyway, about a year after this JustOne was on the market, they started asking people to make an initial deposit of 1.5k if you want to open this account. However, as I mentioned, officially there is no minimum initial deposit requirement for the opening of this JustOne account.

We're actually too far off-topic already. For any queries on Standard Chartered JustOne account, please post your questions here. Thanks.

Time to close this account since I don't have much left inside, less than RM 400. I was travelling earlier and only back to office today, I was too busy to go to AmBank today. Hopefully it's not too late for me to cancel tomorrow. I saw M&M's reply regarding the 1 year waiver, but again I have been wanting to close this account since they revised the interest months ago, this is the perfect time to do it then. biggrin.gif

Where do you think eGIA-i belongs to?

Since it doesn't belongs to FD (no PIDM) nor it belongs to the investment in the general public sense (even ASx FP doesnt feel right as an "investment", let alone this laugh.gif)

Do you want to open a new thread for it so that the GIA question don't scatter across many threads? laugh.gif

Guys, they have recently relaunched the True by Ambank site,
The "True banking" is something like Maybank Aspire/ CIMB prime now,
with "preferential" rate for FD, ie at least 0.15% higher than board rate
