Anyone got kena this?

Suddenly ambank charge TRUE debit card annual fee.
Because my bank balance is 0 in the transact account, i get negative balance Rm10.

After that they charge me RM2.20 as registered mail fee, and send me a registered mail, in 2017 to tell me that my account has negative balance.

My sister kena this, collected the registered mail 2 weeks after it was posted, and her account got closed, because the registered mail gave a notice of only 1 week.

An sms or email would have done it.

Just close this. We all here all close it when they drop the interest by 1%. Better stuff exist now.

I just found out they charge annual fee from 2nd year onwards.
Need this account for the free IBG. With them charging rm10.60, not sure if it is worth it anymore.

Use standard chartered justone/basic saving account.
Free unlimited IBG and IBFT. If use Justone account, remember to cancel the card so that won't kena charge annual fees.

My justone have only RM2+ inside.

OT: Can cancel debit card for Just One Acc? I thought it is compulsory to hold the debit card if I want to use Just One acc

I told them cancel the card but keep my account. They said ok. So now I have no card but still retain control of my account.

No point have card also. Not much standard chartered atm around.

They have free MEPS withdrawal as long as u've freshfund of RM1500 credited on the month

No need MEPS withdrawal when there's free IBG/IBFT. I never deposit any money in there. Just do an IBFT over to the account which have an atm at your place. Just an account just in case need to do lots of transfer one day.

- Maybank eGIA-i (4% p.a)
- RHB bonus saver

Just would like to check regarding MBB GIA-i Account, based on what I understanding, capital and returns are not guaranteed.

1) If I'm existing M2U SA, is it another Debit card will be issued under MBB GIA-i account ?

2) After 5k (1 month) or 1k (2 months) placement, can I option to close the current MBB SA and just use the GIA-i account for daily purpose ?

3) The 4% P.A count based on the fund inside the GIA-i Account right ?
Example, after placement of 2 months, withdraw RM500, the balance of RM500 will still be getting 4% p.a intersted ?

Let's say if I want to open a new join name account under GIA-i account, can this possible to do so ??

The online transaction cash rebate 3% is it include payment via myTM portal, myTNB portal and PTPTN online portal?
