There is a catch. When open the acc, u given two acc. ie current and saving acc. Saving acc will give u 2.80% int rate, while current acc. won't. 

In order to withdraw money, u need to do it online, to transfer money from saving to current, then u can withdraw but 3 transaction only. Anything above, will be charge RM5 + gst

Quite troublesome.

I currently have an AmBank Basic Savings account

If I apply for TRUE Debit MasterCard (TRUE Transact Account & TRUE Savers Account)...

Means I will end up with 3 AmBank accounts?

interested to know the relationship between other banks vs TRUE Transact vs TRUE Savers

since majority of my fund is from other banks (e.g. Maybank)...

1) MBB IBG -> TRUE Savers, to immediately enjoy the flat interest rate of 2.8% p.a., right?
2) TRUE Savers to pay bills/IBG to other banks, got fee?
3) TRUE Transact to pay bills/IBG to other banks, free.
4) TRUE Savers -> TRUE Transact is free?

Hi all~my husband went and applied for TRUE debit card yesterday, well they exactly gave 2 account number one was SA another one was CA . But I would like to ask what if make transfer 5k into saving account,how much in interest paid will i get in the last day of the month?  counter as daily basis right？ so somebody can show me how to calculate the interest paid? thanks alot

I know that's why I am thinking is it worth doing it to get a SA which gives 2.65%p.a at the cost of losing substantial interest?

Time to close account and categorise true savers as a rubbish SA with their T&C.

Very likely it is a system error. Give them a call and they will reverse it. Or it will just magically disappear in a few days time, just like what i faced last month but that was about them charging me RM5.30 when i transferred some money out from my True Transact account on the first day of June.

No need. Just keep your account rm0. Same thing happen to me. Ambank worker told me cannot leave true transect empty. Need to put like rm20. I said all this while kosong je, nothing happen also.
