Ok, both of you are talking about JustOne Personal Account
(https://www.sc.com/my/save/savings-justone-personal.html).
1. So, does Standard Chartered offer Basic Saving Account? Correct me if I am wrong, perhaps, this Basic Saving Account does not have free IBG and IBFT.
2. How does free IBG and IBFT work? Which one is correct?
a) When we use SC online website to transfer money via IBG or IBFT, no fee is being charged. Or,
b) IBG or IBFT fee is being charged, at the point of transfer. But, the fee will be refunded, by the end of the month.
3. Do we need to pay annual fee for JustOne Personal Account, if we choose to have the debit card?
4. What is the minimum amount of money needed to open this saving account?
5. What is the minimum balance that must be maintained for this saving account, without incurring any penalty fee?
6. When I open JustOne Personal Account, I will have both JustOne Personal Savings Account and JustOne Personal Current Account, with separate account number, right?
7. If I only need free IBFT without free ATM MEPS withdrawal, I do not need to transfer RM 1500 to JustOne Personal Current Account, right?
Thank you for the information.

1) Yes, SCB do offer BSA and nope, it do not have free IBG and IBFT
2) (a)

3) Nope, but if they insist to, point them to the t&c

4) RM 1,500 , not sure you can nego lower amount or not, but I opened the account with that amount
5) Nil, zero, you can withdraw every single sen and leave it blank (of course you must make it active at least once a year to prevent closure of account :lol)
6) Yes
7) Yes, free IBG and IBFT is by default, just that with monthly 1500 deposit, you get extra interest rate and free MEPS and HOUSe withdrawal
