Does it count as 7x transactions? Usually I do it once every 2-3 days, RM50 at one time. Using MaxisPay so not too much of hassle compared to kiosk payment.

Only 6 transactions on that day.

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Aug 1 2015, 07:28 PM)
why do at kiosk when you have maxispay?  sweat.gif

At that time I was not so sure about getting rebate via MaxisPay.

And Maxis centre (kiosks) is just around the corner.

Guys, quick clarification on two things. Sorry if they are being asked gazillions of times before. blush.gif

Swipe 10xRM 50 can be on the same day, same merchant? And the ten swipes can be anything right, doesn't restrict to the categories I choose, am I right?

Thanks!

If you want maximum cashback, swipe Rm50x10 for the category you choose. Why want to give bank free money? One should maximise money from the bank.

The 10 times could be of any categories. But the rebate is given only for the 2 chosen and bonus - Mobile categories.

Sharing my experience, I paid Maxis (at kiosk) RM50 for the most 6 times in 1 day. For the 7th time, the transaction was declined.

Got it. Thanks for the information. smile.gif

I was afraid also of triggering any unwanted action from HLB. So, i performed 3 transactions at kiosk 1 and another 3 transactions at kiosk 2, within the same day. All were counted as eligible transactions under Mobile.

I have called to the CS for 2 times for requesting the pin number to register online account. It has been a month, I still haven't received it. Sigh.

Not advisable to do this unless you really are a big spender on Maxis. I did that as i was in Middle East that time and buying groceries are not entitled for cash back doh.gif
I think yours got problem since you swipe physically(which lead to suspected fraud), I just guessing only, could be wrong.

Suggest you direct go to branch and request for PIN, just within 10 min can be done

Bank will then send you PIN by email to your personal

I just wanted the counts. All were ~RM50 transactions.
Yup most probably that the reason for the decline. For your case, you performed 12 transactions in one day?

I have agreed with the rm5 fee for requesting the pin number via mail. Not sure if it can be waived if I walk in to the branch directly. I have dealt with a few banks CS but I found out HLB seems like the worst. = =

Within 1 hour icon_rolleyes.gif
As I called Maxis Center to extend the dateline.
From this, I can say online payment are safer compare to swiping since paying online you need to have your HP together. It is 3 layer security, your password to log-in, your HP to receive code and payee's account.
