I understand that some forumers here did receive calls from HLB for reinstating their cancelled HLB credit cards. I received the same offer yesterday. At first, she offered me Essential card but I request for Wise card.
Asked if the annual fee will be charged if I agree to reinstate my cancelled HLB Wise Gold card only (cut combo Wise + GSC in March 2015), she said there is no annual fee for the first year. However, I need to pay it for the second year. In addition, I would get 50% cash rebate (max rebate rm80) for the first swipe with the reinstated card.
My questions,
1. Is it guaranteed that I would receive the card or it is subject to approval again?
2. Will there be any notification from HLB for the reinstated card? SMS?
This is my first time reinstating a cancelled card. Seking advice from forumers with the experience.

I just wanted the counts. All were ~RM50 transactions. Yup most probably that the reason for the decline. For your case, you performed 12 transactions in one day? |
