QUOTE(richard912 @ Jun 3 2016, 09:10 AM) Seems the X34P is more curved compared to the X34 at 1900R vs 3800R Curvier, for closer placement of the monitor to the user. Q4 is months away. Tried YouTube-ing the model for a hands-on experience at Computex, found no result. All are focused on the new 1080. What a shame that this is missed.

This year's Computex, main focus was on VR it seems.

Assembly and setup. Asus ROG Swift PG348Q Ultrawide 3440x1440 100Hz G-Sync. The back of this monitor is more beautiful than any of my previous monitors from the front. All the separate parts requiring assembly. The successor at the bottom. The predecessor at the top. PG348Q 3440x1440 replacing XB280HK 3840x2160. A downgrade in resolution but a huge upgrade in screen real estate. The all-seeing eye. Everything maximum at 3440x1440 running at 85-90fps inside, and in excess of 100fps on outdoor levels. do you guys get any fish-eye effect in these ultrawide monitors?. since the introduction of widescreen monitor (16:9), i've noticed almost every 1st & 3rd person shooter game has serious fish eye effect on the left and right side of the display. anything goes wider at the side, which really turns me off. in movies, 21:9 is captured properly with no fish-eye effect. in gaming, anything that's not 4:3 or 5:4 has fish-eye effect.
