do you guys get any fish-eye effect in these ultrawide monitors?. since the introduction of widescreen monitor (16:9), i've noticed almost every 1st & 3rd person shooter game has serious fish eye effect on the left and right side of the display. anything goes wider at the side, which really turns me off. in movies, 21:9 is captured properly with no fish-eye effect. in gaming, anything that's not 4:3 or 5:4 has fish-eye effect.

Forgot the exact technical terms, but basically G-sync technology will sync ( duh ) your GPU output and monitor's refresh rate. Tearing are caused by out-of-sync ( either GPU send frames too fast or too slow to monitor )
Got myself the AW3423DWF last month and just after a week of usage the monitor has a vertical line that appears intermittently.
Contacted Dell and they can only replace it with a refurbished unit. I insisted on a brand new unit but they don't have it. What a bad experience What other options do I have?
u bought it when it was RM3999, right?

But i saw many reviews saying the HDR has some issues. And Asus monitors that are > 40inches are all 31:9, which i think is too wide and not widely supported by most games.
As i checked Alienware, the biggest monitor seems is only 34 inches, which i need at least 39 or bigger.
Samsung seems having the same case as Asus, > 40 inches seem are all 31:9.
Any recommendation for an ultrawide 21:9 Oled with minimum 39 inches that are good for gaming and no hdr or known issues? And with display port 2.1. I will pair this monitor with next year's rtx 5090. Thanks.
that asus's 800R curvature seems too much for me to handle
