That's why weird. The really good one like Predator X34 are cheaper, while normal one are much expensive. Donno what Bolehland logic
Wonder if anyone have freesycn monitor ( at 75Hz ) + nVidia GPU combo. As I read in reddit, they said that combo causing frameskip at over 60Hz.

Trying to understanding pricing policies is almost like trying to unravel the mysteries of a Black Hole. An example of this is Acer's XB271HU, priced at RM3299 compared to Asus PG279Q which sells for RM4.2k+!

Hahaha damn it, 4.2K for 27" I know Asus always expensive, didnt know this crazy. I think I dont have much choice for good 34" G-sync monitor, so far I only know Acer Predator X34 and Asus ROG Shift 34 ( 5K price and no official warranty here I think ).

Thats why dont get ripped off like a water fish. Choose wisely dont give away your money to some greed idiot putting madness price

The Asus ROG Swift PG348Q is not officially available in Malaysia. Bangsawans have had to get it from across the Causeway, paying a princely sum of SGD1.8k or thereabouts. Convert this at 3x, it works out to whooping RM5.4k compared to X34 with RRP of RM4299 with free predator headset now selling in country.

Didn't like the X34 because of the stand design makes wires visible. Minor gripe with the backside of X34 for the glossy, fingerprint magnet finish, although can really see it unless you look from the back.

Panel quality is virtually the same. This bangsawan loves the PG348Q because he likes that ROG logo projector, the back design, the menu system with joystick.

That X34's base took up so much space are really annoying. Found one owner with the exact same table as mine, and he said the base cant even fit the table ( as below ). I plan to remove the riser completely.

You could consider getting an Ergotron MX arm. There is choice for desk mountand wall mount

Yup. A 32" moving hand stand/riser works nice and clean. I love that if you use these type of stands the monitor looked like its floating. Very very clean look.

Hopefully my 70cm deep table can comfortably accommodate an X34P when it arrives

Dunno about that Asus 34" warranty cover, is it worldwide or not. If worldwide then no problem lor. But for me, I cannot tahan last time, direct go buy X34 hahahaha.. If want, better wait for X34P, come with swivel stand, joystick menu button, 100hz confirmed refresh rate n more curvy moniter..

Ah screw it, after calculate total cost for import Samsung/LG monitor it cost about RM3.5K ( ~130USD shipping ), add RM300 can get g-sync Z35, or add RM700+ get g-sync X34, imma just order Predator X34 tomorrow

Actually I like Z35's base/feet design. Too bad the 1080P's dpi are even lower than my current 23" which I almost cant stand the pixel dpi anymore ( spoiled by those high dpi smartphone display )

Cant wait for another half year, and I'm expecting much higher price for X34P for it's improved display panel and minor improvement on design. TBH those new addition are nice but not essential for me.
