My working senior shared with me that day he has RM 200k AUM with PM under EPF-MIS and his portfolio has a loss of RM 20k.
I was giggling to myself. Sarcastically I told him if you had not withdrawn from EPF, you'll be enjoying an average of dividend yield of 5% every year for the past 10 years. |

Anyone tried PB Asia Consumer Fund, launched last month?
I dont have any UT portfolio but somehow quite interested in this fund as my first venture (possibly one-off buy). Intrigued by its profile of investing in consumer markets across Asia. Or should I choose other established funds instead. |

QUOTE(shodan11 @ Feb 9 2019, 02:52 PM) Oh..okay.. what I meant was diversification on my disposable income. Put here, there and not just into EPF,ASNB funds & gold (currently). but just remember to go into those that suits your risk appetite and expectation.... if this is your first venture into UT....may i suggest that you try go into the funds that has more historical track records..... at least you can see how the fund performed (especially in year 2018),...see their performance and determine if these losses is ok with you..... |

QUOTE(hiyyl @ Jan 29 2019, 09:51 AM) Dear sifus, Give about 10 business days before the money re-appears backI've done redemption of my fund yesterday morning. How long does it takes to credit to my account in pbe? QUOTE(silverwave @ Feb 9 2019, 06:28 PM) Hi, may i know if we can withdraw the funds online now based on the screenshot below? Yes you can (whether you bought direct or via agent), if MIS-EPF will go back to EPF, if cash then you can fill in the bank account (can be non PBE account) for PM to bank intoIf possible, can i withdraw those that i open through an agent too, not the bank? I remember there were two types last time. This post has been edited by roarus: Feb 9 2019, 11:52 PM |

Public Mutual Fund is NOT worth investing anymore.
in my case... 24/11/2017 Invest RM58,780.00 thru EPF (KLCI INdex 1720 estd) 22/06/2018 Invest RM50,000.00 thru EPF (KLCI INdex 1720 estd) i still making loss RM3k at this point of time. and wasted 1.5 year dividend at estd 6% Better let it ROT at EPF... hahaha |

QUOTE(MakNok @ Feb 20 2019, 10:10 AM) yes...i know.. Gotta diversified. Your consultant did not study much. But i am sure whatever the fund still making losses... am refering to any equity oh ya...mine is Public Index Fund...not good? Try move your focus to let's say China Ittikal, Asia Ittikal. The index fund you need to continue DCA it. Or cut loss to switch to more diversified fund. Regional. |
