Starting 18 October 2018 to 30 November 2018, all investments (including lump sum and Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA)) made into PCASEF will enjoy a special sales charge of 5.25% of Net Asset Value (NAV) per unit.

if not mistaken this fund only can use cash to buy no switching allowed. look like closed already.

1k loss is included of charges? what is the period of that loss? for UT, really advise you to put at least 3 years to see results.

it is a long term investment platform in a sense.. if want to see result in a 1 or 2 years, unit trust is not a suitable platform

hmm.gif looking at the past performance of a sample of a "balanced" diversified port over the past few years......
you are not alone to have felt that way...... console.gif console.gif
many would have suggested goto ASNB FP funds......
or if nearer to 55 yrs...goto EPF
or if can proxy to parents...goto EPF.... biggrin.gif

many people said....at the end of the 8 yrs "may not see better results"
every year not making money are opportunity cost.

will be very difficult to get back up for 10% drop this year may need 11% up next year just to break even....
if they were to + the opportunity cost of last year (x%) + opportunity cost of next year (Y%)......
lagi teruk % have to up.....

Public Mutual launches new Asian consumer sector-focused fund

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 3): Public Mutual, Public Bank Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, has launched its PB Asia Consumer Sector Fund (PBACSF) today.

The PBACSF seeks to achieve capital appreciation over the medium to long term by investing 75% to 98% of its net asset value (NAV) primarily in consumer-related equity and equity-related securities from selected Asian markets.

May I know whether investment of approx. 10 years yield roughly 40k, done mainly thru EPF considered okay or too slow? The top up has stopped for several years though I think my agent is still doing switching at one point or another. Should I sell them off and return the money into EPF account?

look at how much you invest first, calculate the % and divide over 10 years. See if its better than FD, mine's not.. so i pulled out everything.

The agents will show u a chart, saying 10-13% growth, then they tell you apart from dividend, you get capital growth....all bullcrap... i calculated mine, yearly around 2-3%, worst than FD

Equity market is really bad right now, personally I saw that Eastspring also having bad return (in term of unit price) right now.

Or maybe those fund managers are just not doing a good job? hmm.gif hmm.gif
