Dear ***** *******

I hope you have had a productive week.

I was hoping to lend on your professional experience to help me with a query I have. I have been retained by a client of mine in Malaysia to help them find a Well Control and Well Intervention Instructor for their newly built office in Kuala Lumpur, however, we cannot find a Malaysian Well Control Instructor anywhere.

My client is willing to take someone who has IWCF Well Intervention Supervisor Level 4 and also IWCF Well Control Surface and Subsea Level 4 and has scored above the 90's in all exams. Are there any Malaysians out there who have both of these tickets? It seems to me that it is rare. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Craig Johnson

This is due to a certain quarters that has made this thread so toxic that all open, constructive and intellectual conversations are non-existant anymore.

Instead, race-baiting, racial rhetorics and name calling are the mainstay now.

This thread need to be cleansed of all negativities that has crept in.

Hey guys!

Managed to secure another job from different field. IT to be exact. I guess for those that got retrenched, be positive and keep on applying for another job. Maybe you could try venture into another field at the moment until the oil and gas industry jump back on its feet in few years time. Just a suggestion though.

Good luck people and all the best!

BTW, I have lecture notes regarding drilling operation from A to Z in my pendrive. Thought of sharing it in here but afraid to do so because got my 'Lambang Company' inside the lecture notes. Takut they come and find me later on if tersebar. Haha. But you can always PM me if you want to

If you can deny the world that :
Petronas will take more Chinese and Indian based on population
no retrenchment taking place
Then, yes, you are right.

But the dirty fact says your statement are totally wrong.
Or another way is, do prove that petronas work force do have > 30% of non malays working.

your bullshit is getting lamer by the day.

Check the race population in the contractor in O & G. Is it Malay dominated or Chinese dominated? You kept blaming Petronas for having more Malay but if Petronas doesn't enforce a minimum number of bumi employees in contractor, do you think they will hire any Malay?

Heck, check even further for those company that being awarded with mega contract in other industry. Sunway, Gamuda, Mah Sing. Isn't Chinese are dominating and reaping most of the benefits?

Yet you are targetting Petronas for being Malay dominated.

Indeed you are right. I can have 2000000000 of non Malay contractors to work in Petronas for 1 week, then I can boast that Petronas is not a racial company.
I'm talking about permanent staffs. If you can prove that majority of board of directors and senior management do have > 30%, then I'm wrong, else your lie is still lie.
I don't bother on contract workers, permanent staffs matters.
Like MAB, it is only 9000 employees, that's 11000 of staffs being laid to rest at home.
Again, now I'm talking about Petronas, so no need to bring out other companies to hide your lies.

Actual ratio is 5% only, so PM's slogan of 1Malaysia are more on bullshitting.
If you are talking about Shell HQ, yes, if talking in PD, again, you are wrong.
