yeah, i did, it won't fit too icon_idea.gif, the "thick" one is Panaflo while the "thin" is CoolerMaster, even i forced to get in (yeah i know, it's dangerous tongue.gif), but still won't fit doh.gif, i guess this SLI-DR isn't HR tolerant laugh.gif

@sniper69

I think it would be better if u could get change the direction of the heatsink facing rear fan then change the HR-03 mounting side to downward and fit a 12cm fan to it ..

The result would be much better coz the hot air from gc could rise and pushed by ur CPU fan then exhaust through the rear case fan ...

as for the alignment ... It looks quite similar to the wheel stand ....

if u are willing to wait I could go to ATE 2mr to check it out ....

hmm.gif, i did what Doom's idea, i think the air flow is getting better...

user posted image

IMO, i should change the CoolerMaster to other fan, maybe a silent but high cfm fan?, or for temporary, i might just use the Panaflo? icon_idea.gif

If u don't OC much actually CM UV silent works just fine with the HR-01 ..

I noticed it whether running 500rpm or 1200rpm it doesn't make much difference probably around a degree of difference only.

Maybe u could just mount the Panaflo fan or get VIZO and reduce the speed ...

This cooler won't do make too much of difference with high CFM fan ...

hmm.gif, i did the overclocking but at stock voltage since my Venice capable to do 60% overclock @stock voltage smile.gif, i just checked via Everest, i notice the CPU temp rises up to 35°C as compared to before (using Panaflo fan), 25°C, damn that's huge difference dude, or is it the thermal paste... gonna re-seat i think... icon_idea.gif

sniper may be u should try attach 2 fan on the HR-01, perform much better for mine, but the weight side a bit problem though haha.....

btw as for ur HR-03, i suggest u still the fan blowing towards the rear, but u have to find a way to mount the fan, ur sound card is blocking the air intake of the fan

hmm.gif, yeah, before this, using low-profile sound card, doesn't give that problem, after upgraded to Audigy 2, doh.gif, it blocked the whole fan... made almost 0% air-intake already... doh.gif

I do agree with you on this. My cousin's HR01 push-pull configuration performs better than a single push. His Opteron can go as low as 30c.

Anyway, pity you having so many clashes sniper69..LOL..You will have a hard time trying to find the best setup for those big HSF...

HR-01 on double (push-pull)? is it ok if i put low cfm as push, high cfm fan as pull, and the exhaust is considered as low cfm...

yeah la... that's why i think gonna get CFX3200-DR, from the looks, should be ok with the cooler tongue.gif

If u OC that's something that stock fan speed can't help much ..

When OC the heat amount jut too much to handle by HR-01 unless with dual fan configuration like what other have suggested as well ..

But the weight is an issue to bear in mind.. '

The original push clip might not hold it firmly,, which is the main reason I go for LGA 775 bolt through kit to mount my HR-01 .. more stable coz I noticed it before the contact of the heatink and the CPU just not so great with this push pin configuration ...

i think the airflow and the temp's reading is normal by now icon_idea.gif, from the stress test gave me this...

[attachmentid=254780]

all i did was, i place high cfm fan (panaflo) at the frontal (took up to 3 5.25" bay)... icon_idea.gif

Yah that's the only solution coz the case is really a bit restrictive in term of airflow ...

Would the case being noisy with the fan at the front since U mostly won't put any anti vibration material on it ...
*
yeah, at first i just put on the ODD, but yeah... it vibrates, so i have thought to use 3M Double Sided tape (thick) to absorb the viration and add to that, provide extra support icon_idea.gif

U still need the EX33 so that the front will haf a nice big intake. Now even with the fan there, the ROM slots r blocking any intake. The holes on the doors too small to b effective oso. With the EX33 u can open the door slightly during gaming sessions so that the EX33 can intake fresh air.

owh... FYI, i open the 3x5.25 aluminium bezel just to give her fresh air like this thumbup.gif, the idea was from Doom, about the doors, i leave it open too tongue.gif, as you guys knew, A10S has high restriction sad.gif...

[attachmentid=254995]

but still, i do need the EX-33...

correction : upper level cannot use the EX-33, it's 2x5.25", not 3x5.25" as below smile.gif
