there are a lot types of mosquito net, but the price wont be cheap.......so if u can get a cheap sieve, why not.......
i dun think the thick and thin fan got much difference, mostly on the blade design..... try to a get a fan with good pressure........ 2mmh20 above ( but super rare here)........if not mistaken good presure can penetrate the air filter easily while still maintain the air flow rate so far i only notice silverstone and certain thermaltake models does have those pressure ratings but the price also haha......... or u could do like a silverstone casing tj09 does, put a fan inside the casing in between the hdd rack and mobo another way is to keep a distance inbetween ur filter and fan like thermal take tsunami / soprano casing |

i like to take A10 earlier too but after seeing how could i convert it to BTX, wah......retreat.........haha
but seriously a71 would be better choice, those 4 fans configuration between the hdd rack and mobo area really nice btw sniper, vizo fan are no good with fan filter unless u stick it on a heat sink.... the pressure very weak....... mine was making a mess to the airflow after installing it with a fan filter... the hdd cage ATE have stock now, i went yesterday.....really nice and cheap...... and definately can fit into ur case This post has been edited by LExus65: Jun 21 2007, 04:36 PM |

haha i notice that fat side too........hehe but the mesh looks could perform good though....
^666^goin Ali G style too..........wah....... i'm really looking forward to see it............ but as for case fan, i dun recommend Vizo or anything around 30dB if u place ur casing just next to urself on the table for gaming or movies, a bit annoying after a while...... for me i stuck 3 vizo in my casing, and the case is on the floor yet it still annoy me once a while |

sniper i tot u sold ur x1900xt already ?
btw i bought and install EX-33, (i'm not sure which model, mine hold 3hdd). it work better then cooler master own steel 1, and very light. easy to install as well. But the ori fan a bit slow, i replace it with a vizo hehe........but the fan holder a bit weird, a quater of the area is slight block (i dunno why they dun cut it clear) ........... sniper i definately recommend it for u............ but careful while install get scratch easily...... btw as for ur GC cooling , i suggest cooling the underneath too......when i remove a fan blowing the lower section the temp shoot to 67oC at idle, put a fan back on 63oC.........put 1 more 60oC.....may be u should try that........ note that all the fan are focus on the underneath of the graphic card |

sniper may be u should try attach 2 fan on the HR-01, perform much better for mine, but the weight side a bit problem though haha.....
btw as for ur HR-03, i suggest u still the fan blowing towards the rear, but u have to find a way to mount the fan, ur sound card is blocking the air intake of the fan |

8800GTS tend to run idle at slightly higher temperature after using for some time..........
u might want to turn ur fan speed up from 60 % to may be 80%, it's still very quiet for me.......mine idle at 63 shoot up to 67 before i manually tweak the fan, after that goes down to 60 only......hehe |

well u can go CM thread look for my casing setup....... i think the problem due to dust collection and fan aging n performance deterioration for 8800GTS.......
now trying to troubleshoot the problem why the temp keep goin up but i manage to keep the temp down below 70 under gaming, so far only CnC3 and supreme commander.........i think still does not stretch it out far enough so may be u can do like sniper did, 2 2x120mm frontal intake, this helps alot This post has been edited by LExus65: Jul 2 2007, 05:43 PM |
