ya the fair is nothing interesting, all the thing also can find in lyp, i also ask ATE about the G7, they say hav 2 go 2 their showroom c still got stock or not.

the only thing that catch my attention was the 8600GTS. i saw asus & gigabyte 1.
*
I went to ATE today to buy a LL casing for myself.Asked for the G7 but they told me that there is no more stock already. They say that there wont be any restocking as well, so i guess there aint any G7 more..So decided to get the PC-007 myself.Very satisfied with it and with a price of RM288, i just feel its worth every penny.Cable management is much much more easier than my previous C5.

And for those who are worried about the side 24cm fan, you can remove them as the side panel came with a mesh instead of normal acrylic. Bad point for me is that the included 2 Blue Led fan doesnt seem to work well. Anyway, will be changing them to SS and Noctua soon. There are plenty more stock and even more incoming so i dont think there will be any lack of stock for the 007 anytime soon...

huh blink.gif so the transparent side panel ain't riveted sad.gif

hmm.gif i thought the 007 is PC-7YCF, which ATE change the name to 007 to familiar customer with the old 007, dats why i thought the transparent side panel for 007 was riveted sweat.gif

*
Yes, you are right.Actually it is the PC-7 Plus model which they renamed it. And yes, the side panel is riveted as well but it came with a big mesh, not the usual acrylic side panel. Therefore, you could easily take out that big 24cm fan but it still leave small holes there..

Anyway, i also say the PC-60B there which was for sale at RM388.Basically the same design but with a removable HDD tray, a side fan, a transparent panel and a CPU duct..

*
There is?I asked the sales person there about the G7 first but he told me that there is none left.I even asked him to reserve for me if there is incoming stock in the coming batch but he told me that its almost down to impossible in getting this G7 anymore. Therefore, i change my mind to the 007 which he told me might be going back up to RM350 in the future..In the end, i got not many choice and opt for the 007..Damn, i wanted the G7..lol...

Edited: I went around 1pm..

1 more thing, from the included paper in the casing, LL stated that the 007 can use an extra side fan mounting thingy. How much would that cost?

so u saying is that the mesh is to replace the 25cm fan la smile.gif  rclxms.gif

the PC-60B u saw, by default already came with a transparent side panel? the one with the removable mobo tray, rite? does it also comes with 25cm side case fan on the side panel? blink.gif

there is two version of PC-60:
1. the old good PC-60 (got three 3.5" bay slot)
2. PC-60 Plus II  (got two 3.5" bay slot)

which one is it? blink.gif
*
Yes, the 25cm fan was actually clipped to the mesh as exhaust fan but you could remove the clips so that the fan will not be there..

But unamed is correct, there will be 4 bigger holes there that might not look nice but for me, its still better than having that ugly 25cm fan there..lol...So, its a matter of which you prefer..

The side panel fan extension i meant is this :

user posted image

And i will surely be not using that 25cm fan.Would this fit and how much is this?

@E-J@1,

The PC-60 that i see is this one :

http://www.lian-li.com/product/product06.p..._index=4&type=a

Its the same as the PC-007 in the exterior but have a very different interior.Yes, removable mobo tray, removable PSU tray, CPU can duct and etc..Very nice indeed. It originally does not come with a side panel window but according to ATE, they are having a promotion by giving an upgrade to window side panel for free...So i guess it will be a great buy...If you need a confirmation, i will try to find the brochure i brought back later and show you about the promotion..lol...

What model is this one ???
*
Its stated there :

PC-60 Plus II

There internals are different but the exterior hmm.gif ..The only difference i could see is that they switched the power button and those led to the left as compared to the PC-7 Plus which is on the right...

Might be might be hmm.gif hmm.gif

Anyway, for an extra RM100, you would get more features internally which i think is great if you have the budget..Otherwise, the PC-7 is fine with me.Happy with it so far...

*

I totally agree with you on this.I still prefer those with single color.Combination of silver and black is not really my type..

QUOTE(kalakatu @ Apr 15 2007, 08:08 PM)
oo7 is really attracting..plus the price is nice too..
but honestly i dun like those 25cm fan  sweat.gif
*
What i might be trying to do in the near future with those holes that where left by the 25cm fan is by covering them with a black plastic.I mean, i might cut those plastic pins that was used to put the fan in place and stick it into the hole.Duno how it will looks like...

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Apr 15 2007, 11:00 PM)
the PC-60 is still using the 80mm fan compare to those newer LL series that have 120mm fans.
any discount for side panels only?
*
I am not sure about those side panels but from the price list, its seems blink.gif ..Some even reaching about RM150+ for side panel only...

QUOTE(unamed @ Apr 16 2007, 12:31 AM)
Akachester, does the area surrounding the rivets at the side panel of your 007 contain fine scratches? Mine does...
*
No.Mine does not have fine scratches. In fact, i dont think i saw any scratches when i fix my mobo into the casing..Too bad its using rivets instead of normal screw. If not, i would have change the mesh into an acrylic.

Anyway, would the mesh affect the airflow of the casing?

yup, any thing that we put front/back of the fan will affect the air flow, especially those fan filters laugh.gif cause it will restrict the air to be suck in/exhaust out nod.gif even the fan grill also block, but only lililitttttllllleee la (almost to none) compared to those sponge fan filter whistling.gif
could u check the PC-60B Plus II case feet as well in your next trip to ATE icon_question.gif
Lian Li site shows alu feet (like those Home DVD Player) but in the review shows rubber feet sad.gif i'm planning to get those feet change if it was rubber feet rclxm9.gif
RM30+ if i'm not mistaken
it will not cause Lian Li cleverly enough to build the bezel with curves on end of it, so the Rom couldn't get a grip or any place for a grip on the bezel to stuck with laugh.gif  laugh.gif

u should aware that not all Rom can use that bezel, like Rom with wide opening door or the location of the eject button...

better u bring along your Rom to ATE to test b4 buying it icon_rolleyes.gif or ask Doom what model he use on those bezel, he got two drive using that bezel with different model, who knows maybe u got the same model with his brows.gif or ur drive design got kinda same design with his drive laugh.gif
*
Well, i will try to help you look around if i am there.Might not have a trip there so soon as my exam is coming soon.If thing goes well and my budget for my new PSU arrives, i might be there as early as next weekend (lol..cant wait).Anyway, if i am there, i will help u check it out...

I am using the typical type of ROM (LG to be exact).I know those Pioneer rom cant use them but i guess LG should be fine right?Anyway, since i might only be needing one, RM30+ seems to be fine if i could make my case nicer..lol.. thumbup.gif

Look for ATE in the list..

However, like what kalakatu said, its better to call them up first to know stock availability..

Just went to ATE to get the Front Alu Bezel. I must say very worthit and nice..

And get the chance to see the PC-60B Plus there selling for about RM388. Instead of coming with a side panel mesh like the PC-7B, it comes with a acrylic window (free upgrade) and does look really nice. The side panel fan alone already cost RM50 when i asked.

I think this is what u are looking for ... it's about RM 130/RM140.

Dont ask me got stock or not at ATE, link for the product as below.

W65
*
Yea, its that.I saw it coming together with the PC-60 and considering the fact that PC60 has the same design as the PC-7B, it would fit right?I wanted to get one to replace my mesh though...

To be honest, if i would have saw the PC-60 when i was at ATE, i wouldnt have purchase the PC-7. At least it came with a side panel which is very costly if purchased seperately and better accesories..
