QUOTE(johnliew1990 @ Jun 3 2015, 08:46 PM) Wahhh thats great! I think hor the 3GB data quota can save dy la since alot of place also got the wifi hotspot... and i saw the data can be carry forward to next month one lehhh if unused.. means can keep accumulate the data quota for those place without the hotspot one... unlike those other telco renew renew every month.. sigh.. bro, do u know how to get the wifi id and password to login to the wifi hotspot? i thought celcom will sms about it, but i didn't get it.

QUOTE(adelemui @ Jun 3 2015, 08:06 PM) Hey prorated means the bills will be equally spread out to ur bills. Partial charges and prorated usage may occur since all recurring charges that had been billed one month in advance now need to be adjusted. Like me I just changed to the First basic 38 plan before my renewal cycle, surprising it doesnt charge me that much thou.. i still like pay about 30-40 plus only.. I see. Thanks for the info

QUOTE(GoldenHorn @ Jun 3 2015, 07:16 PM) hi guys, after ported to this plan, this is my first time of using postpaid ever in my life. my question is, when is the bill cycle for every month? when is usually the last date i need to pay my bill? bill cycle is according to celcom system. depend on how the system assign for u u need to pay yr bill within one month from the billing date QUOTE(versey @ Jun 3 2015, 10:47 PM) bro, do u know how to get the wifi id and password to login to the wifi hotspot? i thought celcom will sms about it, but i didn't get it. NO TELCO can beat SIAKCOM ni!!! hzahahaha Best in valued!!!

QUOTE(AzizahHamzah @ Jun 6 2015, 01:47 PM) ehh dont want that 'U' word telco la. i see alot ppl complain alot about their service one. slow service want to pay bill also hard. everywhere no line all. i feel yellowman also better lor in this case. haha but anyhow Celcom First basic 38 also very cheap dy lehh plus got good coverage all over malaysia, so no need cheaper one dy la haha U was ok when they started because i heard they were using Maxis network then they got their own network, lines are very poor. Fully crowded place, eg malls and stadium coverage really got my nerves..couldnt make or receive calls, let alone surfing internet...boo

QUOTE(maryjanewong @ Jun 6 2015, 03:27 PM) Nowadays call rates doesnt matter that much dy la. even whatsapp also can call now what. u wanna talk otp also can use whatsapp dy what somemore used up data or wifi only so easy hahahah.. like what u say maxis cannot go in village rural area but Celcom definitely can. IMO celcom still outstand la in this terms. I prefer to pay rm38 for (3+3) GB of data and pay a bit more for voice calls (don't call much) and sms (hello, whatsapp?) rather than rm128 for only 2GB data and unlimited voice plus sms. Don't think I will ever spend rm90 on those calls and texts.

QUOTE(halleyleong @ Jun 6 2015, 01:34 PM) Yes its true that Celcom has the best coverage in Malaysia but beside that i think its Maxis la IMO. Somemore i see this basic 38 plan so so only la call rates so high. I'm a loyal user of Maxis and been using it for so long leh. Everywhere i go also got line, dont say those 'kampung' la haha. One plan is good for me d cos unlimited call time to all network is the best already. talk to bf also no need to scare or need to sub line all dy.. i rmb my bills used to be like 150 200 plus a month last time omg Greenplanet now being very unreasonable la really. there satu plan is quite funny in a way where only give 1gb for 78 plus plus which ended up it will be 90 plus a month. i've been using it for like almost half a year dy and think to change already ~ think about it 1gb can sustain for 1 month mehh. i nvr stream video at all and barely its enough for me just to use it for whatsapp and all. my friends who use the 38 plan can do anything they want with their data quota and it will nvr run out LOL

Means I called how much, cause I call exceeded 50mins Dial *111# Select My Bill Select Check Bill Charges: FOC its pretty simple system for Celcom to do so unlike some like yellowman have to go to website all and check so troublesome waste time only. i like to just do this way so much faster in entertain us fussy customer hahahhaa.

QUOTE(halleyleong @ Jun 7 2015, 11:25 AM) Well it depends on what type of user u are mah, if yr circle of friends all used to calling ard then tell me will u still whatsapp them? i think u'll soon lose some friends right if yr in such condition. and not most of the kampung area also no line la for Maxis only those super rural kind only. well how often u will ended up in such place right. That's true, some are finding that the urban (esp indoor) coverage is not as good as Maxis in some locations. But overall, it's still by far the best deal available...

i have 2 different telco's I'm using - work currently is using Maxis and my own personal is this Basic 38 plan. My data coverage (in KL & PJ) is pretty bad for Celcom in terms of speed and latency compared to Maxis, especially indoors...Facebook and whatsapp sometimes take a long time compared to Maxis...and while Maxis consistently are on LTE , celcom is very selective and mostly outdoors..indoor coverage is always 75% 3G / HSDPA
My friend who switched from Maxis to this has already ported back to Maxis....
I'll give this plan another month to see how it performs
