i have 2 different telco's I'm using - work currently is using Maxis and my own personal is this Basic 38 plan. My data coverage (in KL & PJ) is pretty bad for Celcom in terms of speed and latency compared to Maxis, especially indoors...Facebook and whatsapp sometimes take a long time compared to Maxis...and while Maxis consistently are on LTE , celcom is very selective and mostly outdoors..indoor coverage is always 75% 3G / HSDPA

My friend who switched from Maxis to this has already ported back to Maxis....

I'll give this plan another month to see how it performs

isit the phone receptor problem??? i've been using Celcom for the past 5 years and city area no prob at all whether its kl or pj anything. even my hometown pahang near bentong there also signal very strong. internet is decent 3G speed la. Instead my friend's maxis forever no LTE and even at his hse also no line one LOL. u're defo the 1st person i heard saying celcom no line and speed slow haha

Iphone 6 plus and Samsung A7 - has no issues on reception. Signal strength is ok. But data speed is just not good compared to maxis. Please look at another thread other people are complaining also. Maybe my area maxis is better than Celcom. Or it's just too congested.

Celcom network seems unstable, unlike Maxis, I can immediately receive whatsapp msg once turn on data, for Celcom, I have to wait at least few seconds, maybe I have too high expectation, hope Celcom will fix this. Have been using Digi, Maxis and Celcom, I have to say Maxis is still the best.

Same issue as me.

After Celcom introduce this plan, and I port to it from i98 plan. The data plan really sucky at times, alwiz have to on off phone because of bad connection. WTF celcom??

So you mean you had better connection rates on your i98 plan?
