I suggest that all of us lodge the complain at CfM or flood their CS mailbox to let them know this matter is a 'big' one. Not a small potatoes... biggrin.gif

My next complaint to CFM will be to demand for action not words from TMnut. I will tell CFM that I don't want to hear any excuses from them anymore. Either they give me some kind of rebate or lift this stupid throttle. I am not going to wait until the end of the year for TMnut to "add in more bandwidth" and keep on paying RM99 for dial-up speeds. Lets hope they will do just that. I also hope more people here will complain to CFM until TMnut gives us what we have paid for.

Here's to hoping. thumbup.gif

i already downgrade yesterday, i'm not gonna wait them to add new bandwidth while paying RM88 permonth for surfing and chatting
*
I'm considering doing the same thing. How much difference has it been, overall? Downloading and surfing?

QUOTE(Kataro @ Oct 19 2006, 01:22 PM)
If TMnut have 70K to purchase that stupid device, why don't they use the money to increase the bandwidth instead... rclxub.gif
*
Upgrading the bandwidth costs hundreds of millions of dollars. Not just 70k, my friend.

QUOTE(nwk @ Oct 19 2006, 03:06 PM)
only a leader with the IQ of a baboon will ban broadband. That will be a huge step backwards for any country in this IT age. Instead of going forward, they go backwards...right back into the STONE AGE!!!

It's called control. He wants to maintain control and the internet is not something that he can control. That is also a likely method the US will use to attack him.

QUOTE(Haruji Sora @ Oct 19 2006, 04:26 PM)
Most of us suffered since the "nationwide upgrades", which were on mid September.

Yes I got throttled since then >_<. A month+.
*
Same here dude. Been suffering for what seems like eternity now.

QUOTE(Amika @ Oct 19 2006, 04:26 PM)
like i said.. i wish it work i really do.. but from what i've seen nothing seem to scare them.. but if complaining to cfm does work i've no problem making my complaint to them as well..

Look at things this way. If you try, 1% chance to gain something, 99% chance failure. If you don't try, 100% chance of failure.

I think his name is Azrul. I am not sure but I know he is a malay guy. Anyway, I was more interested in giving the guy a piece of my mind then bothering to remember his name when I spoke to him on my handphone tongue.gif . What kind of hell did you cause at TMnet?

Haha, i emailed ceo@tm.net.my. Here's the letter i sent:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I emailed this on a friday night, at about 7pm, and at 9pm got a reply, detailing my rebate! Haha, rm118, woot! I then wrote back, saying that this rebate alone is insufficient, and i DEMAND a reply from Mr.Lai himself.

The next morning i got a call from Mr.Azrul on my handphone, he asked for additional details, assured me Mr.Lai reads all emails, and action would be taken. He also asked me to call him directly incase I had issues later on in the future, which I did and he got them fixed in a day! biggrin.gif

woah!!! that was some hell you raised in michael lai's face. I wished you would also raised some hell about our slow BT speeds in his face too. I am sure he would have stop all the throttling if you did. Good job!

I hope someone here can held up a campaign to collect opinions from all TM customers. Customers only need to fill up answers for some questions regarding some services from TM. Of coarse customers must provide real name and streamyx ID. These opinions will be the best proof to show to TM about it's BAD service. These feedbacks will also be the best evidence to force TM to improve its' BAD service ASAP.
