today i receive email from tmnets

this is what they say,

Dear Sir/Madam,

"Thank you for your e-mail to TMNet. Firstly, we would like to apologise for the late reply.

With regards to your query, please be informed that we have lodged a report and the report number is 3050640. Should you need to check your report status, kindly contact our Technical Department at 1-300-88-9515 (select option 3 for Technical Assistance).

Should you require further assistance or would like to submit any enquiry/feedback, kindly visit www.tm.net.my and click "Need Help? Contact our Customer Service".

We thank you for taking the time to write to us and look forward to serve you better."

this is what i reply.

I'm so dissapointed with TMNET way of solving problem, I been sending numerous complaint email and now only you people lodged a report on my problem.

What the heck are you people been doing? Staring at the monitor screen and try to understand what is the problem for the pass few weeks?or those "thing" that work at the customer service center are monkey and hyppo? or they are just simply idiot human?

TMNET service is so bad, and yet you people who work in the front end don't take customer complaint seriously? How do you guys want to move and provided the best broadband service in Malaysia? With this kind of service support I doubt that Multimedia will be archive before year 2020.

we know now the bt speed is teruk
how about http dl
how fast is it?
*
http download is not consistent. sometimes you will get full speed and sometimes you will get slow speed. tm@#$nut throttle p2p does not make http downloads go full speed 100 percent. for downloads to go full speed all the time, tm@#$nut must have the balls to buy more bandwidth but we all know they have not done so until today.

Do they even have balls all along?

They started throttling our bandwidth before Raya for no reason other than giving stupid excuses like 20% of P2P users using up 80% of their bandwidth. It was going so well before that.I don't think it's just that. There's no way you could have a sudden surge of users that took up all the bandwidth. It's not like suddenly a few thousand new users took up Streamyx.I say they must be conserving this extra bandwidth for other things such as their new 3G servicves and improve their corporate customers instead which they are not telling. What a loser isp.

So sick of them over the weekend.Even my htp downloads also they want to throttle now.You can simply do a bandwdth test to the US and check it yourself. Now my international http downloads can't even exceed 27kB/s!Shit and my BT is crippled. What the hell I'm paying for a Home88 package for?

What is even more f*** is their Penang gateway is still fully BT unthrottled until now.Don't just blame us KL users for sucking up the bandwidth la when you have so many weaknesses in your bandwidth management.

i wonder if we all can get together and protest right in front of michael lai's office and yell slogan's like "tmnet cheat", "tmnet does not deliver" or "tmnet is malaysia's worst broadband provider"?!

if the situation does not improve soon, i intend to write a formal letter of complaint to CFM and also to the Consumer Affairs Ministry about tmnet's false advertisement and unfair policies. i am so getting sick of this nonesense. all of you guys will agree with me that we should get what we are paying for and that is for broadband speeds, not dialup speeds!

Because of increased BT DL = increased piracy? The main diff between pirated copies and original copies are the quality. Some people wants quality(like me, got >300 ori audio cds)

And just to confirm something - I'm on Streamyx Enterprise (3MB downstream) and my BT speeds haven't been affected at all. If I run lots of concurrent downloads, I can get 100+k/sec easy.

Also, my general downloading speed doesn't change throughout the day. I can max out my connection at 320kb/sec at any time and on any day I want when I download from my Usenet service.

So when TMNet say they are running out of bandwidth, what they are really saying is that they are running out of the bandwidth allocated for the users on the home packages. They do not reveal just how much spare capacity there is on the business lines. And based on my consistent performance, zero disconnections and totally reliable throughput, there is A LOT of excess capacity that they are choosing not to release to the home users.

I wonder, does the Streamyx SOHO 1.0M Package have the same effect. I can't seem to find the Streamyx Enterprise 3M package listed at the website.

Wait a minute. There is a user here by the name of steven437 with bandwidth problems eventhough it is a Corporate package. How do you explain that?
