What? 10 "P" games is it LOL.

A single original PSP game cost anywhere around RM100+ to RM180ish

OK OK enough of this off topic (one typo leads to all this LOL)

---------------------------------

I dont mind if they impose a download limit, as long as there is another higher up package that (premium package) that doesnt have a download limit.

But i seriously doubt TMNet has yet to implement a bandwidth usage monitoring system per account basis yet. Or else I am sure they would have already introduced it out.

I doubt that they plan to implement such a thing. It would be easier and better if they just continue to advertise fake "unlimited 0.5/1/2 Mbps" packages, make customers pay full price RM+++.++ , and then complain that the customer actually bothered to use the bandwidth that TMNet oversold and that the customer paid for, and throttle the customer to kingdom come with no intention of giving them the actual bandwidth in the first place.

And who's gonna argue with them? They have a monopoly and we have no voice.

Here's my download performances. (Healthy torrents only)

Movie DVDrip (approx 700MB) = around 100kBps
Drama TVrip (approx 350MB) = around 150kBps
Mp3 Album (approx 90MB) = around 165+kBps

I'm using RM88 package with 1Mbps where they say automatically upgraded to 1.5Mbps. Using bitcomet 0.70. Living in Bayan Baru, Penang (Island of food, rubbish and lubricant river).

My torrent was throttled for the past 8 months, I was getting less then 5kBps.....now no more, but for how long.

8 months???!! your connection may be bad, that's why you think you are being throttled. anyway your situation now may be temporary because many guys here have found themselves unthrottled only to be throttled again a few days later.

I have no problems with Malaysia being an islamic country. i only have problems with this stupid goverment that does not support an open and free market. this goverment only know how to monopolize this and that. because of this nonesense, tmnut attitude towards it's customers is "one kind" one!

yes i agreed with nwk.. i also have no problem with malaysia being an islamic country.. it's because the govt doesn't support an open market that kill off any competitors.. without them opening up our phone line there will not be any new isp in the near future... a very good example of opening up the market is the air traveling.. just look at the price for traveling after the introduction of airasia..

" Streamyx has violated the "Internet Access Service Provider (IASP) Sub-Code for the Communications and Multimedia Industry Malaysia" http://tinyurl.com/yh797n

In multiple areas:-
From part 2.
3.5Any changes in policies developed by the Service Providers should also
be communicated to the Consumers as soon as practicable.

(nope didn't tell me about any policy changes)

4.1Service Providers will provide services and products in a responsible
manner, ensuring that the services that they provide to their Customers
meet the service levels as contractually agreed between the Service
Providers and the Customers.
4.2Service Providers shall endeavor to provide consistent and reliable
access to the services.
4.3Service Providers shall give adequate notice to their Customers of any
planned interruptions of service.
4.4Service Providers shall not discriminate unduly between persons or
classes of persons in the provision of their services or any related matters
and shall provide equal access to all Customers.

(All of the above not done and not doing, they are not meeting contract requirements ie "best effort", they are not providing a constant and reliable service, they haven't given any notice of this interruption to my service, and I am being discriminated against as a P2P user.) "

wonder this has been posted b4

yes, you are a victim and you have been victimized by tmnut. another sign that you are being throttled is, you can't connect to the tracker no matter how many times you try. i suggest you first complain to tmnut and if you are not satisfied by their lame excuses then you complain to cfm. also tell all your friends who are getting the same problem like you to complain to tmnut and cfm.
