I think there might be one or two groups set up via fb if its not reported here. You could try your luck there. hmm.gif

I know there is a whatsapp group for a unit I bought for one of the projects mentioned here, but chose not to join as I value my privacy and I don't like the idea of being part of a group made up of people I've not met personally before.

Agree. Most buyers/owners groups are very toxic and full of negativity....especially after getting vp.

And many talk like ah sum ah sok, holding grudges but later you will find out they are actually anka....

One of the recent development i n kepong one member even commented in mandarin (noticed many buyers commented i n mandarin despite there could be other races in the group) that something along this line
'Cham loh, my neigbour is indian. What can i do?"

One of the reply was
'It like that wan, low cost apartments. Got money buy high end condo lah....the indian there better wan".

We should all learn to respect all others races, and learn to love, live harmoniously together.

and for all you know, a stalker can consolidate down each and everyone's unit within the conversation liao devil.gif

for once i joined the group chat for my 1st prop (still vanilla that time), fuiyoh they can even argue for the material of the grill for months. There's once even got petition to ask developer to change the corridor's tiles or else file tribunal. i'm like confused.gif confused.gif

I think it's better if you read this thread from start to end so you can see the discussions going about this development. That's what I did and I found it quite useful tbh

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think from reading this thread and asking around, most purchasers of Avara are buying for own-stay instead of investment. Because if investment, there's so many other properties to compete with on the same road (Tria, PV, saville, etc). But nevertheless, there are quite a few of the small studio units? Hmm

Basically Avara is real good for own stay. Investment wise, really cant comment much as each have own appetite and investment strategy, everyone see things different. Nevertherless, by standard investment view, many wont choose here. But standard cant mean for everyone. Some looking for blue ocean strategy.

Might consider Southbank. Cheaper and larger built up size.

AVARA is built for people who really stay in the house.. and those like southbank, petalz and etc are totally not comparable to AVARA.

Avara feature all built in with small little things that you think is useless, but actually speaks it is so important after you stay and compared with other project.

Talk about kitchen, already win 1000% hands down.

Other project may giv u built in kitchen cabinet with hob and hood. But no exhaust pipe out, only suck in filter by active carbon. In real life.. the kitchen will still stink becuz is useless not effective solution at all

Avara built in exhaust fan in kitchen point out to the building, more effective in taking out the cooking / frying oil steam.

Other project no giv such solution, so some owner go and reno and redo the exhaust fan and point towards balcony or condo airwell. This is a very shitty and selfish reno done by those owner, especially those that reno the exhaust fan to airwell.

One good example is petalz. Some inconsiderate owner go reno the kitchen exhaust fan to airwell, every time they cook (6/7am, 12pm, 5pm, 9pm) the whole airwell stink with their food, and all toilet window need to be shut. If no shut, whole house masuk their cooking gas oil smell. Imagine whole 40 storey kena becuz of the airwell

This problem wont go away. Petalz is 650k property with this kind of inherent problem forever, worth it ?

Avara already point exhaust fan outward, and not to airwell or wadsoever.

So small little thing like this actually counts.. yea abit expensive, but long run 30 years u will know that little expensive is worth it afterall
