Substitute your steamed potatoes to sweet potatoes. Eat at a higher frequency to up your metabolic rate.

BTW subway wholemeal bread are NOT real wholemeal. More like dyed brown bread.

Hope this is the right place to ask, since its just a questions. Not necessary to create new topic 😊

To all the sifus,

I am trying to cut my body fat %, perhaps another 5% in 3 months (hope is realistic) Currently 17%, 76kg. I do bring my own food to work as well.
Today i couldnt control my craving and i started to eat a lot more (tandoori chicken with egg white n veges) once at 1pm and 5pm. During 5pm, i ate another starbucks egg white n apple 😣😣

Questions is tht how badly cheat meals affect for those of us who is on diet?

Thanks Sifu 😊

I guess in a way i am asking of the pro's n con's of cheat meals. 😊

My craving was bad today. Wanted to eat all sort of food (kfc, cakes, chocolate you name it) but i recalled people telling me tandoori chicken is healthy and tasty. Luckily after eating it, the craving was not so strong anymore. But i still went on for the starbuck sandwich 😭😭😭

Again same question putting to u, do u know why you need to cheat?

Pro & Con: it can be double edged sword. As for myself, there are no CONS at all. I'm cooking a Penang White Curry now while waiting for my McD Prosperity Burger 😊

YES. take 20 scoop also ok. still if extra protein will make u fat. watch the calories intake

just to be clear: High protein diets do not cause kidney damage.

The origin: Back in 1983, researchers first discovered that eating more protein increases your “glomerular filtration rate,” or GFR. Think of GFR as the amount of blood your kidneys are filtering per minute. From this finding, many scientists made the leap that a higher GFR places your kidneys under greater stress.

What science really shows: Nearly 2 decades ago, Dutch researchers found that while a protein-rich meal did boost GFR, it didn’t have an adverse effect on overall kidney function. In fact, there’s zero published research showing that downing hefty amounts of protein—specifically, up to 1.27 grams per pound [2.8g/kg] of body weight a day—damages healthy kidneys. - Alan Aragon from Mens Health Online

Pre-workout. (30 minutes before working out)
1 medium sized banana
1 cup of oatmeal

Post-workout.
1 scoop of whey
Dinner consisting of about 1/2 cup of rice, about 200g of lean meat, potatoes, fruits.

Is this a good diet? Or should i drink the whey pre-workout?

According to this article, taking whey pre-workout is more advantageous.

What's proper pre & post workout meals? Well don't follow blindly. You gotta know your goal and know how effective your workouts are. Worrying about losing muscles if you don't feed them, chill.. If weight lifting is so taxing, what's life?

Don't worry, take your time, read slowly.. You will find this site very informative, be it famous or infamous information as well. Macam macam pun ada.. Learn to differentiate them as well. Just remember there ain't any magic pills/powder or shortcuts. Different goals different games 😊

hi, I am new to body building as well.(5 months)
I train like a man ( a girl here) and skip all the cardio thing
I have uped my calories intake from 1k a day to 1.7k (slowly) a day. lost 4%bf (now at 21%bf)
here is my intake like
carbs : 149g
protein :130g
fats: 55g

bone mass :2.8kg
muscle:43.5kg
bf: 21-23% (depending which time of the day I measure)

after 1 month of 1.7 k calories my bf stop dropping n muscle mass stop gaining.
I train almost every day and 2 hours a day .
I stopped my training 2week prior to my surgery.(didn't effect my shape much except just a lil flab )

any one can give suggestions?
I take whey+caesin protein shake but always try to hit all my macro with solid food first
I am IIFYM-ER
