when I make a U-turn, the steering will have a sound of 'Krukkkkkk.....', anyone know what happens? Thanks
*
Could be many things

1) Absorber mounting KO
2) Spring mounting KO
3) Lower arm KO
4) Steering rack bengkoked
5) Anti roll bar dropped link(tulang anjing) koyaked/bengkoked

6) could be nothing, 1 time spring lari from tapak after high impact

Could be any 1 or more of the above that causes it. Send it to reliable tyre shop to diagnostic please.

guys..is it normal for flx cvt gearbox when gear in P or N when you press throttle pedal rpm only can go to 3k?
*
Abosufuckinglutely normal. Reason for that is to protect your hardware

1) From engine over revving. 1 must understand when engine free from gebox, torque is raw and there's no other equipment to compensate. Can easily rev until redline then engine explode
2) Prevent sohem from rev engine beyond safe torque band to launch the car. For example last time people manyak panai put gear to N, rev until 6krpm then suddenly punch into D. Like this gebox cipat rosak.

Trust the above explains it.

Go for mineral oil than. Make sure it's still Plotong certified Petr6nas oil. It wouldn't kill your engine even if it's mineral. Again, woranti is what you buy - by servicing your car at otorais SC. If you think servicing at plotong is expansive, think again what happened within 3 years woranti period if injin rosaked, there goes 8k. If transmission rosaked, another 12k. Probably enough for u to bai another used SV liao yawn.gif

Hi all. My Saga BLM is having alarm issue.

When alarm is set, the alarm will trigger itself.
I checked, no sign of door opening at the dashboard.
And the alarm will just triggered itself after few minutes I locked the car.
And at first I thought is the door sensor, maybe never change before, spoilt and I changed at SC. But then, the situation still remained the same.

Any brothers here facing same problem?  hmm.gif

Dont only keep check doors. Check front and rear bonnet too. U may refer to the alarm fault indicator light signal blinking at the center switch (the alarm reset switch) for the fault code indicator.

Metallic 350 is reasonable. Solid should be 200. Spray paint usually not expansive due to pricing availability and competitive. However, if talking about knock body/restore job, that is very subjective. You wouldn't know whether you pay cheap, the knock job will be good; neither will you know if you paid expansive the restore job is up on par. The only shop that I trust for knock job is in Kuala Pilah, but wouldn't go that far just for the heck of knocking out a small dent on my fender and bonnet  yawn.gif Other than that 1, you may consider Satria(authorized Plotong SC) at 227

http://protonservicecentre.blogspot.com/

The last I got quoted to restore my bonnet+fender+solid white paint job for RM350 nia.

Thank you for your input. Found another shop that quote me RM250 but quite far from home and take 2 days.

Probably going to the one nearer to home, RM350 and one day only.

doing full turn steering will scrub the mudguard.
u doing full turn when u-turn? then it will.
either :
1) change tyre to yokohama cdrive2 195/50/r15 as drfeelgood rekomen
2) change to 55 profile and avoid doing full turn.
3) add spring bush or change to proride taxi spring then change to 55 profiles and doing full turn without hassle.

Thks bro~

I'm nt sure for the full turn when u-turn, need to try again. hmm.gif Maybe use in some small road and parking.

Proride spring not only standard and sport? Which one is taxi spring?

The back of the tyre scrub the mudguard is bcoz the body too low not bcoz of tyre too big?

Sorry for the silly question, but I jz want to make sure the solution, bcoz I need to change 4 tyre.icon_question.gif

Taxi spring is another type of spring they talking about which is on blm taxi.
Rear tire run mudguard is because tire is wider or the rim offset to outside. +30 rims at rear will definitely rub the body already one even u n 50 series. I've tried this setup +35 also will rub if you full load at rear and when go over high speed wavy part. What I did was I DIy rolled out my rear fender. Problem solved and with adjustables it was not rubbing. I think with rolled fender maximum the rear u can go is +33 only front 40-35 is good already

It made me smile when I eventually discovered the rev limiting, it made me wonder if there was an issue that hadn't triggered a code but Daisy sure revved nice and high when I gave her a bootfull on the highway to test it. It seems unlike non-Proton owners in Australia I can't really find problems with them, except the lousy tiny fuel tank.
BTW my 1.6 l seems limited to 2.5k.

The 40litre fuel tank if being used effectively, that 35litres of fuel can made up to 600km. The VIN coded as PL1BT series are all made for fuel economy model. PL1(Proton)BT3(BaseTrimModel3)SNR(Sedan) - Plotong GaGa/S16 series
PL1(Proton)BT2(BaseTrimModel2)LNR(Hatchback) - Plotong Shawie/ShawieStyle in UK-OZ
Help yourself here nod.gif http://vindecoder.eu/proton

The rev limiter is set around that region. I wouldn't be sure what's the exact figure, our old BLM doesn't have that function. As far as I know, most newer automatic transmission vehicle already have the rev limiting function for transmission protection. The 1st time I notice it was a 2003 Hongda Aggord, already got such function when everybody was scratching our head laugh.gif

The "BT" I actually do not know what it stands for, neither the local workshop fellas know what the heck it represents, we're just guessing. However, we think it's more likely to be in Malay language BuaTan the meaning of MAKE, similar to MK in other country's VIN. So, if BT2 for Savvy is 2nd model, which makes your is 6th model nod.gif As for the ST... that part is the trim/model. I don't know what it stands for either, take a wild guess - SUPER TURBO ? laugh.gif
