I did Transfer to TM. Within 3 days, 123 call me & ask why transfer to unifi bcoz im still left 12 month contract. Then, i say honestly bcoz TM gip RM89 for 100Mbps with free 6 month bill. Maxis CS say how long contract from TM. I say 3 year. Then, she offer me Maxis Home Fibre 100Mbps with RM89. Price is fixed discount for RM10 as long im stay with this package. She also can offer me RM129 for 300Mbps. But, i reject. No free bill bcoz still got contract. Will try get this retention offer with free bill when contract finish. rclxms.gif But as usual, my place get speed capped from TM disgusting practice for other ISP. Get around 93Mbps most of time. Still ok as TM nut will lag at night. Everything is super smooth with Maxis network. Website loads instantly than TM. whistling.gif laugh.gif

Same here, 93mbps speed capped for 100mbps plan. Some people still refuse to believe saying TM does not impose speed capped. But overall Maxis is smooth during night.

Maxis suddenly removed my rebate on the 4th month when I'm supposed to get free 8 months. laugh.gif So, I made a call and they already opened a report for me. Someone from the loyalty team will call me back within 24H.

Not sure how this error can happen. According to the CS, she could see my account has been tagged with free 6+2. sweat.gif

Update for my case, the loyalty team called and acknowledged something wrong with their system. They will investigate who made the changes in the system. As a token of appreciation, they will add in free 6 months or equivalent to 180 days effective today. So I get around free 10 months now. But I still have to pay for the error. Luckily it was offset with my previous months’ SST so I don’t need to pay yet.

I'm super happy with Maxis. Speed is above my subscribed speed, usually 310Mbps for 300Mbps, on UniFi infra. I guess the UniFi people in my area are being nice and don't cap our speed. laugh.gif

Now with this free discounts lagi happy. laugh.gif

Is Maxis’ speed consistent with international sites/servers during peak hours? Yes I’m getting irritated by TM’s slowdown at 8pm-12am. sweat.gif

Great, just switched over from TIME. It's definitely superior than TM for now.

The only downside is RM10/month for public IP.

Currently it is superior than TM, there can be some slowness sometime but mostly still usable.

compared to the shit that TM is accused of in the Unifi thread, it's small sacrifice for stability and usability. i don't have issue with maxis fibre's network quality in the other house (but i have issue with its equipment quality and limitation).

i also resolved to cut off Unifi after expiry for their failure to deliver the paid 2Gbps. I can still accept 2x1Gbps to an extent, (i) but the white ONR is shitty, cannot even due aggregation/bonding/whatever AND (ii) they can't even deliver consistent ~1Gbps over any of the 1Gbe port; i'm not even talking about using 2 ports at same time.
and now they have black ONR with 2Gbe ports, but they didn't even offer to replace the white ONR that we early adopters had put up with.

for the past 6mths, the 2Gbps internet in my house has become shitty.
i can't even watch TV (on physically-separate 2.4GHz AP) without my wife's video conferencing (on physically-separate 5GHz AP) being noticeably affected.
the whole reason of subscribing 2Gbps so that she can have as much bandwidth as needed without being affected by the household - and vice versa - is no longer met.
