Intend to install 10 MBPS Maxis Fibre in Taman Wawasan 3, Puchong. Is it stable and speed near to 10 MBPS so far?

wawasan 3 user here, speedtest and download normally can full 10mbps.
The only problem is on and off slow on accessing china website ( after change public IP and try connect different ip range also same).
And the well known lousy router which on and off give intermitent issue too.

Woke up this morning and noted the TM fiber modem AUTH and LINK indicator no longer light up. The Thompson router still looks fine though. Anyone got this issue as well?

What I was more uncomfortable with was the replacement guy had to take a picture of me and the router before he can replace the router. What kind of ridiculous s***ty protocol is that? I don't blame him if that's what maxis asked him to do but seriously it's stupid and creepy.

Hi,

Yes, u can do that. From the gateway page, click on Wireless and u will see list of devices that are connected. Click Configure (top right corner) to delete the device u want.

Thank you. thumbsup.gif

I am having problem to load some microsoft site like outlook.com, onedrive.
No problem on other site. Restart router still the same.
msn.com.my still ok, but once click on outlook, onedrive, keep loading end up failed.

My phone use celcom mobile all ok.

Only got problem if connected to maxis fibre line. Really strange.

Any one facing this problem or can try from your end there?

@RallyNight @jusbella

True enough found out the fiber connector box at the pole outside was open and exposed. Snapped photo of the box and requested Maxis to send in technician to fix it. Both Maxis and TM contractors came in and resolved on 6th April (after 6 days outage). Need to self do constant follow up almost everyday asking updates from cs.

I wonder if this justify for rebate on service outage.
