Just got the adapter changed. No idea how it helps but the guy said its for the future sustainability.

Then guy offered me to upgrade 10mb to 20mb by just an extra rm20 exclusive tax. I rejected the offer due to requirement of 24 months contract.

I wonder why they like to lock down customers in many of their offerings.. Marketing fellas got fetish with locks or something...hmmmm...

Is there any way i can create a demand list for my area to be fitted with Maxis infra? There are a lot of students in my housing area as INTI International Uni is just 2 mins drive away. The neighborhood across the main road has UNIFI and Maxis Fiber. (200m away) Is there a process that i can follow? Any tips?

Address is PT 10413, Jalan BBN 11 /3P, Taman Desa Melati, 71800, Nilai

Use their Ask Maxis fb to keep track and keep asking for updates. I had mine issue logged on 1st April and had to ask them almost everyday until 6th April only they get technicians fr Maxis n TM onsite to fix the BTU issue.

We will be assigned two(2) Maxis account numbers
1. Home Broadband = RM15x after GST
2. VoIP Services = ???? (How much is this bill if I'm not making any calls?)

VOIP is free RM30 value, meaning u can call any number include oversea, it will deduct the RM30 value, and the balance u need to pay. If no make any call den also free.

Yes correct.

example how VOIP charge, you will receive another billing paper like this:-

1) If u make calling for about RM100, den bill will state RM100-RM30(free value) = RM70, so u need pay RM70.
2) If u make calling for about RM20, den bill will state RM20-RM20(no over RM30) = RM0, so free. Can't use RM30 to deduct as there is no NEGATIVE value smile.gif

Hey Guys, i received a called from maxis offering me upgrade promotion RM158 for 20mbps. I'm currently using 10mbps for only RM118. Do you guys think is worth to take the offer? but the problem is have to recontract for another 2 years.

your rm118 package is in extinction. you can nv get 10mbps for such good price.

Maxis is just trying to move you into the expensive priced bucket.
