Today receive call from this number 03-67302006 saying that they want to change the maxis router adapter. Adapter??? anyone receive similar call before? I ask them, since its just adapter, can i pick up the stuff from any branch, or klcc hq? they say cannot, must be either install or deliver. N then i ask why they are changing the adapter only? they say upgrade. Anyone care to explain?

What I was more uncomfortable with was the replacement guy had to take a picture of me and the router before he can replace the router. What kind of ridiculous s***ty protocol is that? I don't blame him if that's what maxis asked him to do but seriously it's stupid and creepy.

anyone using maxis home fibre with ADT alarm monitoring service ?

Previously using UNIFI where the alarm telephone will be connected to the telephone port of the TM BTU modem, with Maxis i have connected to the Maxis router , I have called to ADT and they say Maxis Fibre Telephony do not work with the alarm system and cant send signal via telephone to their monitoring centre, to make it work I will need to change to IP based system.

Just wondering if anyone have similar issues ?

Someone that maxis fibre called me. She said that the modem power adapter needs to be change. She ask for an appointment date . Not sure if it's real or a scam.

Anyone got the same call?

Intend to install 10 MBPS Maxis Fibre in Taman Wawasan 3, Puchong. Is it stable and speed near to 10 MBPS so far?

Just got the adapter changed. No idea how it helps but the guy said its for the future sustainability.

Then guy offered me to upgrade 10mb to 20mb by just an extra rm20 exclusive tax. I rejected the offer due to requirement of 24 months contract.

ask the guy why have to change.
he said got case the power adapter exploded
he say they only change the power adapter of TM Alcatel-lucent BTU.
any other BTU not required to do this.
