well it is true to some extend. but majority of ppl upgraded themselves from typical mice to those so called gaming grade, they will feel the difference if they game a lot. and notice the improvements, even tho a lil. those who jumped in and shouted "my RM15 mouse pwnz you all!!", unless they tried some decent mice compared to those rm15, their claims are childish and pointless and deserve a spam warning. I wouldn't say rm15 mice is bad, it is personal preference. but it has to be backed up by facts and results.
let's not included Pro gamers, as they are not "real" gamers. they game for competition and money. games seem so serious to them, and their life. they would sacrifice comfort for speed, for accuracy, of their own taste, in order to win. so it is totally out of the question. game became a mission, a job...not entertainment anymore.

It's just pretty much like the footballers or any other pro-sportsman. I think they still enjoy themselves and all, playing the game at a different level

Two is One and One is None.

i use to game for competition and yea, its entertainment. you get a nice adrenaline rush especially for fast games. i remember early on before playing properly, i used one of those cheap RM20 A4tech mouse now probably worth RM3. then moved on to logitech MX700 and MX500, got so much difference. now with razer even more difference and sacrifice comfort for speed and accuracy. nothing wrong with that. yeah...u will notice the difference. it is not just i own it, and it must rock kind of mind set. well, it is still personal preference. i needed the mouse to be comfortable, and giving me enough speed and accuracy at the same time. some of the mouse designs are so comfortable but the performance is not there. like ellimist mentioned earlier, we do not have pro gamers in here. even if there is, that's like less than 10%. so it is still out of the question. even non-pro-footballers still by expensive football equipment right? therefore the same goes with gaming grade mouse or any other hardware. i just wanted to exclude those pro gamers statement to make things easier to understand/explain. hehehe...seems like its leading to OOT. 2 different games dude. Razer is not good for FPS. Too sensitive but it is good for dota and micro games. But i still use my microsoft noob mouse( i call it). But it rox. Main thing is a keyboard as war3 players use hotkeys not mouse. SO dota.....get a noob mouse like mine is enough. but not too sensitive till ur pointer flies off screen...K cheers

in my opinion a gaming mouse is still not good enough, you need a good mouse pad 2 to complement.. i use 2 play games a lot and join wcg enjoyed the fame n stuff n what i was doing but i realise i cannot go far being a pro gamer in malaysia xD last time i used logitechs MX310 and it lasted me for 3 freaking years! it is a good mouse i must say but its hard 2 find it now in the market currently using Razer Krait small, good and comfortable i broke my middle finger still im able to join a local tournament of dawn of war and got 1st place last saturday, and my mouse pad is a fUnc pad 1030 surface which lasted since year 2003 a must to get mousepad its cheap n good =)

Do u like the ergonomic right handed design of the mx518? If yes,get the G5,if not,the Copperhead. If you play with real low sensitivity, the 2 won't suit you,as we have discussed, but I don't think that's the case
