If you are really a serious gamer, go for Razor brand mouse. It is quite expensive, but definitely the best gaming mouse ever (response are fast, precise and sharp)...

Thats subjective.
I've used a Copperhead before, yet after using an Intellimouse 1.1A
I never used the Copperhead again.

Heck those were my friends mice.
So I got myself an IE 3.0 and I'm loving every bit of it.

QUOTE(haylui @ Jan 3 2007, 01:51 AM)
Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 now has been spiced up with 9000 dpi optical sensor...I am using it.
S$ 65 is what I get for my mouse. I like it a lot. Yeah. Plan to get another one after CNY....afraid it sold out again
*
9000FPS, 400 dpi. I doubt anyone can use a 9000 dpi mouse even if it existed. tongue.gif

I'm using the MX 518 now, no qualms about it.  Great value for money.

Definitely the cheaper alternative to the G3/G5 (i can't remember which one is the wired one).
*
G3 and G5 are both wired.

G7 is wireless

Thanks for your input. I heard a lot of good kickbacks for logitech mx518. What are their prices? (razer and mx518)
*
razer krait averages around rm90+
1600 dpi, relatively small size, light, 3 buttons

logitech mx518 goes for bout rm138
1600 dpi, well sized, 5 buttons excluding the on the fly dpi switcher.
the dpi switching on the mx518 is firmware based, so you dont have to install drivers to switch dpi on the fly.

im not sure whether the krait needs drivers to switch dpi on the fly, but considering it only has 3 buttons i believe you have to install drivers.

all razer mouses need the drivers for on the fly.
without drivers, all razer mouses perform at max dpi and theres nothing you can set.
*
damn now razer sounds g@y lol

is there any such thing that's called wireless gaming mouse?
*

only G7 lives up to that claim

QUOTE(Raven_lee @ Apr 30 2007, 11:48 AM)
Is it true? IME 3.0 RM 100+? Where?
*
the re-released IME3.0 is 139 to 159 in lowyat
do your own survey where to get the best price
im not gonna advertise for shops here

QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Apr 29 2007, 11:08 PM)
common, RM15 mouse doesn't really fit into "gaming grade" mouse even if you can use it to frag. It is just "normal" mouse.

and you want a brand for RM15 mouse? try tecom...or eview or ABC brand. they all come out from the same factory anyway.
*
unless you're freaking lucky
i got an intelli 1.1a for 20 bucks new
lol

Firstly i didn't say the DA is a crap mouse ... but if u goin to pay amount of cash on serious gaming mice , the copperhead is the top of the line....Seriously take a look at the price the DA is RM199 and the copperhead is about RM250 (so if u goin to pay alot y dont take the expensive 1?) , then the copperhead got 2000 Dpi and some other razer feature like DA but DA only got 1800 Dpi ...and copperhead can chg the colour light and stuff ... if u wan the DA go ahead .. smile.gif im just givin opinions...
*
Death Adder > Copperhead

sure, copperhead doesn't have any problems playing on high sensitivity,
but what about low sensitivity users?

Death Adder can cater both
Copperhead can't

only advantage copperhead has over death adder is that it is ambidextrous while the death adder is right hand biased.

Spending more money on a mouse doesn't mean you're getting better stuff.

Just my Rm0.02
