i have no problem with my logitech G3 laser mouse.

my answer is necessity for regular user, privilege for serious gamer....

Contrary to believes, u really need a good mouse pad ESPECIALLY for expensive mice. This is necessary to prevent it's exp mouse feet from deteriorating. The VX revo that i have has really big patch of feet, thus making it more demanding on it's surface.

But hard pads like the one I use eat up ur mousefeet anyways

It's just that I really like hard surfaces,lol

me .... just using a A4 tech X710 ... got it fo rm 39 from a trade in promotion from sri com at low yat a few months back ... traded it with a RM8 mouse ... the A4 Tech mouse even comes with mouse benchmark tester ... not bad ... mousepad ??? got a nice piece of velvet cloth wrapped to a piece of hard plastic ... by the way ... anyone of u guys tried the new microsoft habu mouse ???

i still use normal mouse and keyboard. does it really make difference in gaming?

using logitech g5 now.. quite goodlor.. played quake 4 with it.. seems easier n more accurate..

OF course it does.. Most will feel a lot of difference with mouse but for keyboard not really necessary.

just tried the habu today ...

forget bout it .... LOL ... not comfortable man ...

went to try my friends death adder ... looks the same as the habu but feels much better ... razer kicks butt man ...

felt the difference when played F.E.A.R with the death adder ...

sigh ... have to put my A4 tech aside and save the money to get the death adder ...

I wanna ask. I am gonna get a krait soon guys, but my mouse pad is just a normal pad...will it be ok or shud i get a gaming surface, budget is low, so i tot the monstermat will be cool enough, or shud i just stick to my normal mousepad

I can't play Quake 3 at all in cybercafes because the mouse won't stop spinning (some basic logitech optical mouse,plus I'm a low sensitivity type of player)

just one of the factors,lazy to think of others right now

Keyboard
Your regular keyboard can't do this :-

hint : watch number of keys pressed simultaneously in certain parts of video,especially ending move.Fifa players complain of ghosting issues as well now and then

Macro keys are useful for RTS games I suppose

just get the everglide mat ... i forgot what model is it but i saw shops at low yat r selling it at around rm65 ...
