yea that is one of the main reasons i use razer, cos its symmetrical shape.
i used to use logitech a few yrs ago, mx700, mx500 and eventually changed.

razerguy previously announced there will new mouses out by end of this yr, and those are most probably it.

deathadder - 2000dpi right handed mouse, price slightly more expensive than copperhead.
taipan - 2000dpi wireless mouse, price RM300+.

diamondback acid green expected to be coming in soon also.

FYI, the two right side buttons by default are for DPI up and down.


anyway, for me...i used to use logitech mouses...then switched to razer and never looked back.
prefer more symmetrical mouses, i find it easier for fingertip control etc.

BF2142, grenade default is '7'.
and i got no more keys around WASD left to bind.
so i bind grenades to one of my left side buttons.

krait if i not mistaken middle button is for on-the-fly adjustment.
copperhead/diamondback is one of the side buttons, so i use my middle button for voip.

so yea, the side buttons is very useful

hah, you be surprised at all the keys i use for BF2 / BF2142.

the only letter keys thats not binded is U, I, O, P.
my tab, caps lock, left shift and left ctrl also all binded to something

cos razer doesnt have the excellent marketing with big budget that microsoft has.

nah, they used everglide pads i think.
razer has a big share in everglide.

btw, you cant force a pro player to just change mouses.
especially those who been using the IE3 mouse for a long time, completely different shape.
guess thats why now the habu is out, and soon a razer mouse based on the same shape.

habu laser is an improved version of whats on the copperhead.

and mantis speed and titan are the exact same thing, so how come you dont like mantis speed but use titan?

the IE3.0 bulk is pretty expensive, RM180.
and well, someone posted that mygomall.com is selling it at RM139.
i think i might get one myself from mygo then

hmm, now i comparing the specs.
its heavier than diamondback, and its 400dpi.
means if i get it, all my sens settings need to be adjusted and by alot.

in bulk both ngbh and moderno take their stuff from ban leong.
and i think ngbh started cutting price then moderno followed til both cant cut anymore

mx518 has exact same sensor as diamondback.
difference is in the drivers.
if not mistaken logitech only has dpi adjustment, and no sensitivity.
razer has both.

just based on feel it should be pretty obvious.
dpi usually only settings of 400/800/1600.

what if you want something in between?

i still couldnt f ind the MS IE3.0 mouse at pcfair...
and after thinking about it, good thing i didnt get it cos i wouldnt be able to play properly then.
i really need razer's on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment for the games i play.

the dpi doesnt really bother me.
and the IE3.0 is actually a 400dpi mouse
doesnt really bother me tho, its just the lack of the on-the-fly sens adjustment.
