QUOTE(selvenz @ Apr 2 2015, 04:51 PM) If number is 20246688 be wary, i called maybank twice first time they say there is no record of this number in their system, and no calls were made. same.. they say my salary directly bank in to maybank so no need any information or document... just my name my email and my mother's name..Called second time, today now they tell me this number is their internal telemarketer but unable to see any records of a call to me. Funny also offering maybank2card platinum. said was pre approved and will deliver card to home in 14 days. irony they didnt ask for income tax , epf etc just said since my salary is via maybank no need any further documents. I find it hard to believe but will wait and see. |

bros. i just applied for new mbb card and the bank worker who applied for me said that the application will be processed after april -> no gst. to my surprise it was validated on 30th march. kinda pissed. called cs and they say if i cancel it now the rm100 service tax wouldn't be charged. I would like to ask how long do i have to wait before i can apply another mbb card if i do cancel?

QUOTE(den @ Apr 3 2015, 11:59 PM) actually not fair right. later buy from tesco, also tax again. =.= By right, bank can only charge us GST on their processing fee or service charge. TP is similar to interest earned on FD placement, how can they charge GST on TreatPoints for redemption of voucher and when we use the voucher also been charged of GST. Those who been charge, shd call to kpnk to check and confirmed. Sound ridiculous.you guys know about touch n' go? got charge 6%? is it only charging 6% on the 0.50 service charge? |

To say that TP should not charge GST means they 'selling' you an item and you didn't pay GST on it.Vouchers I agree is unfair as charged GST already. This needs to be sorted out by customs. |
