QUOTE(maskedchan @ Apr 2 2015, 07:48 PM) Understand your doubt. If u have doubt, just reject it. I just want to point out maybank do have facility to pre-approve card for u if u banking with them Actually AMEX acceptance in Singapore not that bad. Almost all big departmental store accept it. Also restaurant widely accept AMEX but still visa / mc has better acceptance, in general

QUOTE i buy something at RM10.00 at the supermarket. supermarket charge me 6% GST, becomes RM10.60. if you pay using your credit card, you're paying RM 10.60For example, on weekend, the 5% cashback will be use to balance the 6% GST. Paid amount - RM10.60 (5% cashback) = RM10.07 Correct? This post has been edited by Kr0ll3R: Apr 2 2015, 10:06 PM

Besides the fact that therakyatpost isn't a good source of such news anyway. What they mean, I think, is that cashback is not per ringgit. So if you spend RM100 (accumulated) you get RM5 cashback. And you spend RM150 you still only get RM5. Then if you 'hit' RM200 you get RM10 cashback. But, again, wait for Maybank to say, not third-party.
