QUOTE(kart @ Feb 18 2015, 05:34 AM)
So, the hotel accommodation (3 choices of hotel) is free of charge, and without hidden charges or, terms and conditions? RM 800 or RM 1000 is the value of the free hotel accommodation, not the price we have to pay at Palace Vacation Club?

The brochure states that you must come with your spouse. I am single, so can I come instead with my sibling, or one of my parents? Look like I will be disqualified due to this.

It is so hard to believe that we can get free hotel accommodation, without buying anything at Palace Vacation Club. If it is too good to be true, it is usually not.
*
Yeah zero cost, but its only one night. You pay parking, normally.

No hidden charges. The real charges is that you waste your time 2 hours or more listening to them. Don't believe the 1 hour nonsense.

I took a few of these talks, in the end I don't feel worth it as one night staty is more mafan than holiday. Prefer my house. In the end the supposed value of the room is RM 800, so what? My house more comfortable, no need go through jam, pack stuff for a trip. Better give me free spa =p

price are expensive.
*
Disagree, price can be competitive for the products I buy there (mainly handphone and gadget) compared to directd et. al.

Most importantly, no surcharge for credit card use.

I set my SMS alert at RM 201 and so far, no SMS sent for all the petrol swipes since that day. laugh.gif
*
Good luck if you lost the card or it gets duplicated. People steal card like to spend below RM200 to test test first, if you don't have SMS alert at that level then they happily can use. That's why we normally set RM1.

This is the best idea before change TP, stupid Maybank will definitely lost a lot of loyal customer after this.
*
Even after change TP still the best card around. Only WISE can fight, and that one the 10xRM50 requirement and limited categories is so much more mafan.

QUOTE(vk_6qu @ Feb 28 2015, 02:57 PM)
The winners for the Transact and Win has been published ay their website.

I earn about 500 chances but get nothing, even the movie ticket

Anyone face the same problem like me?

Going to question them.
*
This sort of lucky draw competition what you gonna question? 500 chances is like nothing, such a big bank sure got millions of total chances from everywhere. If you win then syukur, otherwise just go for next one. If you're paying/transacting just for these chances, then you already fall into their trap =) macam beli 4d je.

Platinum card isn't anything special anymore ah.... no-one will notice like your card very power.

Pay income tax using Maybank credit card soon.

rclxms.gif can get treatspoints?

Though I suspect Maybank will have T&C to say cannot earn any points etc. from it. Article seems like only Maybank CC can?

QUOTE(victorywp @ Mar 3 2015, 11:15 PM)
aiyo, you don't believe? i have been doing this for many years until some "smart" staffs started to refund the credit back to gift cards or credit cards instead of refunding cash. so i changed tactics to cash vouchers (reasons as i posted above). and this is how i always maximise my wise x2 and mbb2amex x2 beside other cc. whenever i have extra unuse cb i will buy cash vouchers.

ok, if really want to share all these hypermarket tricks/tips too many la. ok la, i share a few more to you all.

do you want to get 3x points at mydin for each rm?
1) buy cash voucher = 1 point
2) use cash voucher to reload tng = 1 point
3) use tng to buy stuffs = 1 point

do you know how to keep getting mydin points + keep extending your cash voucher at mydin?
1) buy rm500 cash voucher = 500 points
2) use the cash voucher to reload rm500 to tng = 500 points
3) use the rm500 in tng to buy again rm500 voucher = 500 points
4) keep repeating the above 2&3 for 500 points each time
5) by doing this also your cssh voucher is extended each time (so not only limited to 3 months only)
remarks: each time reload tng will charge 50 cents, but you still gain in long run

i don't believe someone has ever done this before. if someone trying to claim they did this before is surely a liar. so shall i now ask people to say i'm a genius and compliment me? lol...

anyway, after sharing these tricks i believe mydin will soon change their t&c... perhaps no more points for cash vouchers or no more points for tng reloads or cannot use cc/tng to buy cash vouchers... or all the above... but i will surely find the loopholes again. lol...
*
Real hero la you, give you one clap rclxms.gif

I believe easiest way for the hypermarket to 'block' this is just don't allow CC/TNG for cash voucher. But this will cause a lot of aunty/uncle complaints.

I'm sorry to say this is the most stupid decision ever made. Ask your friend to apply for his own credit card.
Even if you apply supplementary card for him, I think Maybank allows separate account, please separate it. Moreover as others mentioned before, he will share your cash back and credit limit. Think again. smile.gif
*
Also, if you 'don't care about the point' then I'm not sure why you apply this card. Even the cash back is only for AMEX not the VISA/Master.

Sounds like an 'I want to impress my girlfriend' situation. Not wise. Supp card better because it fulfils the T&C (which don't allow non-card holder to use, something which isn't enforced by merchants much), but you're still liable for the bill as the card is actually your card.

If you and friend got argument and friend takes revenge by spending how? Think properly.

I wonder, the 'limit to one time redemption per customer' for Sen Heng promotion is per purchase or over the duration of promo? If the first, can't we just repeatedly purchase RM50 Sen Heng gift card?

Only if its something you actually need immediately. For a new TV, buy now or buy 3 months from now, really a big difference? Especially if save 50%.

But it will be more interesting if financial charges will be charged GST also, that's 18%+6% whistling.gif

Hopefully all those reading the LYN threads will know that it's never worth it to not pay in full on time. If really cannot pay, better BT.

So, spend according own limitations and pay on time is the only way.

Zero fee BT always available, just need to do some work to apply the relevant cards only. Agree that spend always should be within own income levels and never into debt.

So pandai pandai to apply the right cards for 0% =).

Even if not 0%, BT is almost always preferable to paying 18% (whether apply GST or not). Both options are much worse than paying in full and on time though.

If company pays, why do you bother saving money through agoda and risk not getting reimbursed?
*
Some companies have a limit on claims, so going through Agoda can help you stay within budget and not need to top up yourself.

This question is for your company though, no-one from outside can help answer you Ricky300

Does anyone can confirm minimum rm100 each transaction only eligible to get the cash back?

http://www.therakyatpost.com/business/2015...reward-schemes/
*
I think you reading wrongly. Besides the fact that therakyatpost isn't a good source of such news anyway.

What they mean, I think, is that cashback is not per ringgit. So if you spend RM100 (accumulated) you get RM5 cashback. And you spend RM150 you still only get RM5. Then if you 'hit' RM200 you get RM10 cashback.

But, again, wait for Maybank to say, not third-party.

Which card better than this?

Based on what he said, he has not research yet.

Except for WISE, no card can give as good as this card. Public Bank's 6% one is close but not as good IMO.

By right, bank can only charge us GST on their processing fee or service charge. TP is similar to interest earned on FD placement, how can they charge GST on TreatPoints for redemption of voucher and when we use the voucher also been charged of GST. Those who been charge, shd call to kpnk to check and confirmed. Sound ridiculous.
*
The problem is TP can be used to redeem for vouchers and items. To say that TP should not charge GST means they 'selling' you an item and you didn't pay GST on it.

Vouchers I agree is unfair as charged GST already. This needs to be sorted out by customs.
