So it is 25000TP + 6% = 26500TP for RM100 voucher?

Go over to the Maybank 2 premier thread.
Someone confirmed there that redemption to miles should not be charged GST.

Welcome to Malaysia, sometimes common sense just doesn't work.

Right now they are charging gst on miles redemption regardless of how well you can oresent your case. Till then, convert and complaint later

always request for a copy of the redemption details. it will have to state clearly the imposed gst. once we have the black and white copy, we can furnish it as a proof.

like fruitie asked, ur 1st bill already out?

usually new card account won't show the bill date & due date until 1st bill is out. usually about 1-2 weeks after approval.

to be safe, call maybank customer service to find out bill date. fyi, due date = bill date + 20 days.

So is not the MBB card center.
But last time do they charge also prior to GST?
If not, you can make it as strong case on non GST compliant doh.gif
