Still remember the HTC phone contest by HSBC last year with minimum spending of RM1500 and abovee if not mistaken? Just got the phone last week, almost 8 months of waiting, but replaced by Samsung Galaxy J1 as was told that HTC no stock.

Termination by phone call. Email is in the webpage. I used to email them. Reply is immediate. But this depends on the content also because my last email didn't receive any reply

I would like to share something on HSBC amanah -I cc. As this was not mentioned by anyone in the past.
I spend RM 1200 on petrol, dining, grocery every month.( 600 petrol, 400 grocery, 200 dining), then the 800 on any other things ( I spend on utilities bill mainly unify and streamyx which will not receive rebate from HL WISE, CIMB CB card). I get 8% rebates on the 1200 which is RM 96 per month. On average, I get around 4.9% cash rebate each months includes all my utilities bill. So this is a good card for those have similar spending pattern or able to adapt to this pattern. But the CS is irritating. Cash back is good.

This statement is not so accurate. There are still other cards giving rebates, just the % varies.

It's too vague...What kind of local shop you are referring to?

Sorry for spoiling your party but I think that classify as other categories and you will be getting 0.2% cashback only
user posted image

Do note that only the 3 categories can get up to 8% cashback if you spend > RM2k

Do visit their webpage at http://www.hsbc.com.my/1/2//personal-banki...cards#_platinum to find out more details on the cashback that you will earn before you spend

Unlike Maybank and Public Bank, HSBC is very good at using misleading words to cheat its customers so beware when you use HSBC credit card.
