actually shouldnt be any issue. When HSBC officer called to verified, you told them that you want for the lazada evoucher 500 promotion instead of the ringgit plus gift offer. They will act accordingly.

This is based on my experience with SCB. My case, apply directly with scb get rm100 cash back, later saw RP got offer drone, then straight tell the CS when called me up for details, they swap for me accordingly.

Hi guy, is it compulsory need to take the security code devices from HSBC?

I only have CC, but security device is needed if you want to make online bill payment.
So I requested for it and no question asked.
I seldom use it anyway.

So far never tried any online bill payment before. But i did for lazada payment, no issue having otp.

I realize some features unable to use via hsbc internet banking..
Never use their saving acc, hard to find their branches at all.


But I saw their FAQ mentioned that the battery unable to replacement by ourself..
Need walk-in to branch to replace everything with device. Some-more need charge RM50. Is it true?

For bill payment, ie TNB, Maxis, via internet banking
For online payment (lazada etc) sure no problem

unless u press it like once every few minutes, it does not die so quickly... most of the payment only using mobile phone otp.
