I searched but couldn't find this info:
What is the foreign currency fee for this card? I saw on an old price list it says 1.25%, however now they give 4x as many miels for overseas spending, so I supposed it's higher?

Also, it's say "internet transactions" are not eligible for miles. Really? Does that really mean that anything you pay over the internet doesn't give miles? Flight tickets etc? Sounds crazy

2 or 8 % CB Coverage,
Petrol – Shell, Caltex and Petronas.
Groceries – Giant, Tesco, AEON Big and Mydin.

They will only Credit back the 2 / 8% (Groceries, Petrol) CB to Your account about 2 Months later... yawn.gif  sweat.gif  doh.gif
So that, U can get 0.2 + ( 2 or 8 %) CB  whistling.gif

CASH BACK ON PETROL & GROCERIES (pg.4)
8. Only the primary Eligible Cardholder will receive the Cash Back on Petrol and Groceries. This Cash Back will be credited into the primary Eligible Cardholders’ HSBC Amanah Cash Back Card account within 6 weeks after the end of each Participating Month and will be reflected in the following month’s statement.

I guess they don't use MCC to determine whether the transaction is eligible for cashback or not.

Ya, Similar with UOB One & Citibank Cash Back as they also Not follow MCC, Not like MBB Ikhwan MC.

That's the fee that will be imposed to you if you do not pay the statement in full every month. In other words, it's the interest charge.
It sounds confusing because it's an islamic credit card, where charging interest is not permissible, so they reinterpret it as management fee. If I'm not mistaken, the other difference with islamic credit card is that since the charge is considered as management fee, the charge does not compound, unlike normal conventional credit cards where the interest charge compounds.

If you pay in full every month, no need to worry about it. You will not be charged anything.

Even less while my other cards are double digit for now. Perhaps I'm somehow a risky customer for them hence the lower credit? sweat.gif

Maybe yours is about 11k? Or they really intended to give you that credit limit.

I kinda regret getting the amanah card solely because I don't understand the Islamic way of calculating interest.
