Is it possible to apply one card for me and one card for my wife, but both using the same Air Asia BIG Member ID?
Also, after you've received the BIG points, there is no clause that prohibits you from cancelling the card right?
I've read the terms and condition, but I'm asking just to be sure, in case I've missed something.

QUOTE(mackcyber @ Aug 6 2017, 06:45 PM) Hi, I just received my HSBC Amanah card, in Product Disclosure Sheet i found this massive Fee. Should i be worried ? Thanks [attachmentid=9020343] That's the fee that will be imposed to you if you do not pay the statement in full every month. In other words, it's the interest charge. It sounds confusing because it's an islamic credit card, where charging interest is not permissible, so they reinterpret it as management fee. If I'm not mistaken, the other difference with islamic credit card is that since the charge is considered as management fee, the charge does not compound, unlike normal conventional credit cards where the interest charge compounds. If you pay in full every month, no need to worry about it. You will not be charged anything.

QUOTE(idoblu @ Aug 8 2017, 09:30 PM) I kinda regret getting the amanah card solely because I don't understand the Islamic way of calculating interest. Basically, as far as I understand, Islamic credit card uses a fixed management fee instead of the conventional interest. But then they "refund" you back based on the card's balance, which makes the amount that you get charged the same as the interest from a conventional credit card. The only difference from a conventional credit card is that the management fee is not compounding. Also the card is issued by the Islamic branch of the bank (e.g. Maybank Islamic Bank, CIMB Islamic Bank, Public Islamic Bank), which I'm guessing ensures that the source of the money is "clean". But as others have mentioned, if you have no intention of paying interest, no need to worry about it. I never actually looked up at the interest rate of any of the credit cards that I've applied so far, simply because I never intend to pay interest. Today I applied for HSBC MPower card to get the RM500 Lazada voucher. HSBC told me it's partially approved. I really hope it will be approved this time, after I got rejected earlier this year. I waited 6 months for this moment!

Lazada voucher requires RM1k or RM1.5k for those that applied before they changed the T&C? My last transaction that made my spending above RM1k was exactly on the date the T&C took effect.

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Jan 10 2018, 03:29 PM) have you called hsbc inform them u have spent 1k?, try ask hsbc when will you get the 500lazada voucher code as long as you applied the card before the T&C in effect should be safe. I called CS to check, and fortunately mine is using the old T&C. I should get it in 6-8 weeks after my last transaction.
