Hi, just wondering anyone here applied your HSBC credit card at one of the booth at Midvalley and got the wrong card delivered to you. I explicitly asked for and saw the agent checked the checkbox of the card I wanted but still.. a lower grade card is delivered. I have called to cancel the card.

U may try to ask for upgarde instead of cancel. It is depend on bank decision. |

I applied via ringgitplus sometime ago. I meet the criteria and have even exceeded the requirements by almost double, but I got a call saying it was rejected. After appeal and again, was told it was unsuccessful. lousy service from hsbc, I had to call them everytime and often lack of updates from them.

I was at MidValley last Sunday, passed by the HSBC promo booth in the center court. The promoter approached me and asked me to apply, but I told her that I already have Visa Plat and Amanah Plat.
She then told me that I can apply to upgrade my 2 current Plat cards to Signature instead. I was a bit skeptical as she said I will be issued 2 new cards later and my current CL will be combine. Anyone have done this? |

If your annual income meets their requirements, then yes, they will issue Signature card to you.She then told me that I can apply to upgrade my 2 current Plat cards to Signature instead. I was a bit skeptical as she said I will be issued 2 new cards later and my current CL will be combine. Anyone have done this? If not (even though the sales person/promoter said it is possible to apply for Signature), they will issue another Gold MasterCard or something... without your approval/knowledge. U may try to ask for upgarde instead of cancel. It is depend on bank decision. I met the min yearly income, no debt at this stage and my only other cards are Maybank2 Platinum. My point is if I am interested on a card, either give me THE card or reject my application. It is wasting my time to call them to cancel it and at the same time, this behaviour is going to make the bank looks bad. The bank should control and prevent this from happening. |

Anyone have done this? ie, You Got Card A when Applied Card B, You can Request to Consolidate/ Combine the CL (Cards A+B) to have Higher CL with the Condition on: U can ONLY Keep 1 Card Either Card A or Card B with the Same Similarity here, You have Card A, Card B.... After get Card C Request Combine CL (Card A+B+C) = NEW CL but with a MUST Potong Either 2 CC from Them to Enjoy the NEW CL from the Card... All These are Subject to Bank Approval... Based on MY Own Experience an (Amanah Gold + Plat. & Conventional Gold + Plat. then VS Cardholder Since 2011) This post has been edited by fly126: Mar 4 2015, 11:21 PM |

I just received RM100 cashback. Dunno what is that for. In the transaction it shows 'HTC Cashback' amount sharp RM100.
It could be for online promo signup RM50 + New signup promo RM50. |

I don't have =(
Anyway a question for those who have been using this card, when is the cash-back credited? My first statement shows "cash-back RM4.xx" but in the list of transactions don't show it. So my amount owed is RM XXXX, doesn't seem to deduct cash back amount. Furthermore, I spent over RM2k and so should be getting 8% cashback for grocery spending, which would be much more than RM4. Not sure how it works, anyone can enlighten me? |
