I'm way disappointed that whether proton had trained their technician professionaly when attend to simple claim issue just like my case for the driver seat cushion exchange. Broke the wire connector head below car seat and now it getting easy to be disconnect. Solving one problem and create another problem again. I'm too tired with this all...

i had been asked to send my car back to change handbrake lever and headlamp bulb (said by the service centre agent but i think is headlamp assy becos she say no spare need to order, headlamp bulb impossible no stock lol). She say ada memo.. i not yet go see tho.. anyone heard about it? she say is upgrade headlamp bulb something like tat.. i

Same like my case, since the wire connector for passenger sensor under the seat is very difficult to disconnected (due to harden cheap plastic that easily breaks) they have to cut the three wire connecting from it then joined again by splitting to bare wire and wrap with wire tape!! Sometimes out of nowhere the airbag indicator will light up on the meter panel if someone adjusted the seat to front or back, or slightly heavier person sitting on the seat.
I have hard time checking and resetting the BCM for the past few months, only lately I realise the wire connection is loose..!! wonder what happen if i had and accident..................

it is not turbo fan, it is radiator fan cooling down the components in engine bay after shut down...
normal for every Preve with turbo assembly...

not able to crank engine or difficult to crank the engine?
sometimes i need to crank 2-3 times at least to fire up my engine...

Err. I crank it for more than 30 times. Finally decided to call we care. Tow car reached in around an hour. The technician there said is because of weak battery?? Yeah I know about the fan that will run after engine shut down for about a minute or two. But mine was like constantly running for more than one hour? Mine was unable to crank engine at all with constant radiator fan running.

Get Proton SC to fix the mess they have done. If that SC doesn't, call WeCare and demand to get it fixed at CoSE.

Hi, just got my Exec version today. Drove around and feels great. Does anyone know where I can install window visors in Petaling Jaya and how much does it cost? Also, I've been reading a lot in the forum on installing a reverse camera voids the warranty. Was wondering if Proton Service center's sell and can they install both visor and reverse camera to prevent void of warranty?

I have checked with WeCare. SC are not allowed to make modifications. Even installing a Proton branded reverse camera is considered a modification (if original design does not have a reverse camera).

for headlamp bulb, i think it is ridiculous if its no stock available as it is one of the basic thing. If really that SC has no stock of headlamp bulp, you can find one aftermarket. Price range between RM20 -RM100 depending on quality. Btw, stock bulp cost around RM18.

Hi guys. Quick question: How much does it cost to repair / replace the preve's car key fob? My dad's key snapped at the end of the key (where it meets fob). Proton SC quoted RM600 or so to replace one key And yes, both main key and spare key snapped.

The best proton service center i've ever been and I'm a regular there now. The service manager (Ms.Ruby) knows inside out on most of the proton cars. You can ask her anything and she can explain to you from A-Z.

She also constantly monitors the works of the employees, they also works very fast, not like the common proton service center (lot of Tea-Time).

not sure, no problem also but they say is a recall from proton. Yeah thats ridiculous, but i had changed mine to philips bluevision, and first time hearing they recall car becos of headlamp bulb lolz. They called me for recall tho, i didnt went there and complain about anything, yet.
