For the first time i see lorry carrying preve on the back.

hey guys..

sorry im a total newbie about preve..coz I just got my preve executive lastnight.
After bounce here and there since Nov 2014..

yes.. i did NOT get the promotion for 2014 due to limited stock..
yes.. I got the 2015 version instead of 2014.. if you ask what the different..

the different was HUGE!!!... (not the physical car..or new interior or facelift what so ever..)

the different was ON the promotion 2014 VS. 2015

because the car was registered in 2015.. so 2014 promotion terus cancelled. tak dapat..
what did I missed?

discount RM8000.00
3 years FREE service (SA told me.. abg bawak kunci dgn kete jer..tak yah risau poket sgt pun)
YES! 4G huddle (12 months subscription)

and for 2015 what did I get??
Discount rm3000 ... ONLY.. ONLY THATTTTTTTT

serious shit.. SA and Proton really kena kan customer kaw kaw.. the promotion 2014 was gimmick..
they are using us as a umpan@bait ..
they know preve did not achieve target.. so early NOV 2014 discount RM5000..with 4g huddle and FOC service..
then mid NOV they up the discount to RM8000!!!

so we as malaysian.. of coz la and welcomed this both hand..

later.. after booking..loan approved (within 3 days after booking..very fast punya process)

so I keep on waiting..waiting..janji demi janji.. SA promises..again and again..and lastly..
NEW YEAR came... 2015.. no more discount RM8000.. only RM3000..
SA also said other thing still get..FOC service..4G huddle..5 yrs warranty..

so I decided to change car or other brand..Perodua or secondhand car..
after considering ..thinking and thinking.. thats gonna consume me another 2-3 weeks..oh gawd..
so..i just keep waiting the preve instead..

but 4G huddle - NO
FOC service - NO
only RM3000 discount and 5 yrs warranty. thats all.

finally last night got my Fire Red Preve Executive..

50/50 frustrated preve owner because Proton bullshit.

I think better u check back with your SA. The latest update is who has booked their preve on december should get rm5.5k+3years free service+5 years warranty. See thr attachment below.

but I have already clarified this with Proton We Care..

preve 2015 only have Rm3000 discount..
no Yes 4G and no FOC 3 yrs service

the reason im quite pissed because.. the promotion..
rm8000 discount is a lot.. can make as a 10% d/p
and really help monthly payment..

and some more.. 3 yrs free service ..really help our pocket..

From the two tables, one is RM5.5k + 3 years free service and the other table shows RM8k without free service. So the service itself is RM2.5k. It balances out I guess, the 6 free services should cost around RM2.5k.

So the discount now is RM8k for the Preve. Quite substantial. The car itself is about RM65k after discount then (Preve Turbo).

from what you're saying .. each service cost is around rm416 (6x services)

The discount for preve 2014 is rm8k. The rm5.5k discount for preve 2015 but for customer that booked the car on dec. The customer that book in january, they entitle for rm3k discount.

2015 stock - No FOC service. 5 years warranty or 100km whichever comes first. discount RM4-RM5k. That's what the SA told me when i went to the showroom last week.

official discount only RM3000.00 thats it.

even Proton We Care (which I called this morning) said only RM3000.00
nothing else..

maybe 4-5k.. from your SA lah..his pocket money..hihihi

yeah, but the deal is not attractive compared to last month. My friend manage to get RM10k discount + 3 years FOC service even when he booked on 24th Dec. Got his car on the following week. Only thing that turn-off is the color. Soft lilac

color wise maybe not so macho for a straight guy la... but pocket wise.. less pening kepala

Soft lilac is good actually, at night it become silver like color.

yeah..like my car...look like silver, but actually soft lilac..

yeah, i was informed about that promo too but i hesitated and also waiting for the reply from bank for the loan until i fed up so decide not to buy. but i don't think i can live with soft lilac la my friend paid cash i guess that's why it was fast

Use this experience as a learning.

Wait for the next festive season (Chinese New Year etc), I am sure they will have another promotion. I bet they have at least 4 promotions each year.

Preve Premium is worth getting. Value for money with all the features.
