Hi, just got my Exec version today. Drove around and feels great. Does anyone know where I can install window visors in Petaling Jaya and how much does it cost? Also, I've been reading a lot in the forum on installing a reverse camera voids the warranty. Was wondering if Proton Service center's sell and can they install both visor and reverse camera to prevent void of warranty?

2014 model. I was one of the first buyers when the offer came out and got my car very quickly. A day before i collect had to go outstation for emergency work. Lucky the dealer was my friends aunty so she kept the car for me for almost a month and still below 40km when i took it. After all, its only waiting for me to collect, already registered under me.

I have checked with WeCare. SC are not allowed to make modifications. Even installing a Proton branded reverse camera is considered a modification (if original design does not have a reverse camera).

Cheerio.

P/S  Why visor? I have used it in my old Wira and I do not see the benefit. Enlighten me please.

Thank you so much for guiding me there thumbup.gif thumbup.gif . Guess I have to live without the camera, was advice to not void the warranty by the dealer. Btw my reverse camera sometimes got sound sometimes no sound, experience before?

For the visor, i quite like the looks of the car with a visor. Personally i feel it looks more sporty. As for necessity wise, I use to drive the old saga aerobac with the air-cons always having issues. So visors allow me to lower down the window and get fresh air when that happens while it rains. I know its not necessary now as my air-cons are fine, but the old habit keep make me want to breath fresh air during rain (Weird but true).
