Yes preve is loud and high FC.

Need to do a lot of soundproofing to reduce the noise.

I just got back from malacca, 4 of us in my preve few luggages malacca reached jb town half tank gone (about RM40) I pumped Ron97. Average speed is 130km/hr

Car really struggle on the highway especially uphill then downhill then uphill again.

Tire and wind noise and cvt engine noise is intrusive as usual. The soundproofing I did helped a lot in reducing the noise by about 50%. Can finally hear the audio.

Most comfortable and quietest speed is below 120km per hr
*
But your mileage is only 17km right.

People said the FC will improve after first service.

The NVH, i really donno what to say. Each to own opinion.

Cause i used to drive Saga BLM and used to its poor NVH

But for preve i didnt read many complains about its NVH.

*im still waiting for my car. icon_question.gif

edit: i just realised i replied to a March 2015's post. doh.gif

Hi All,
I have 1 question...
but first of all sorry for my not so beautiful english...

Yesterday, I heard 'beep'@'ping' sound when drive in highway...
about 3 time I heard the sound...

I checked all doors, boot, and hood but nothing strange.
Then, after stopped the engine and try to start again, my double signal blinked...

May I know what's the problem?!!asking the sifu2 in this forum...
Or Preve have setting to beep after sumtime the engine running?!!
Because I heard the sound after around 5 hours of running engine...

Bro, u expect to drift up to there? I can shoot up to 70km/h using D in exec. But of course la, u need some time to recover the torque after the turning la. For me, S is not necessary bro.

I just went to genting and bukit tinggi on past few days.. but im premium model, so no problem to go up in D mode.. S mode is better.. wont hurt engine la by that certain distance.. just use your S mode and go up all the time.. when down, just put D mode, and engine will auto braking for you..

Whenever going uphill or down hill, I use D mode initially. If I find it is not adequate, I'd switch to S.

Going up Genting, if you are following other traffic in the left lane, D is enough. But if you want to go faster, you'd find that in D the engine would rev higher and then drop to low rev when you release the throttle. So the RPM goes up-down-up-down. That can be very annoying. In such situations use S mode.

In S mode you can drive up Genting at 60 km/h but the RPM stays within 3000 - 4500 RPM.

This is for CFE version.

agreed with sanadi.. when go up, if use D mode, left lane is ok.. but some cars in left lane are too slow.. 30km/h?! S mode mostly RPM will around 3000 or above.. much more constant power for us to climb up faster.. when downhill, D mode is sufficient.

I rarely use S mode on the Preve Turbo as I find the RPMs to be very high in this mode. I have only tested the S mode on normal roads and have not driven the car up to Genting. It seems like the car can be driven up to a practical speed of 80km/h in S mode before the RPMs get too high and the rev of the engine gets unpleasant. But when going up Genting I guess the S mode will be suitable since the speed of the car will be around the range of 30km/h to 70km/h or so.

Just realised this morning that I am over paying for my Preve Turbo. Why? I hardly ever use functions like auto cruise, swift(?) paddle, etc and worst of all, my ESC is faulty which the SC still has not fixed it!

Paying extra for a turbo and not using the extra features. Dumb buyer! Ha.

My town is so small that auto cruise etc tak dapat pakai.

Cheerio.

I enjoy using the autocruise, especially along the spots prone to high speed cam.

I'm not sure what's the best price out there, but check with your nearest bodykit shop.

And compare with the price of this mudah ad:

Good luck!
