forgot to note it down and lazy to take off the hsf to check blush.gif

2.5GHz prime failed even @ 1.5v may due the 2nd core temp quite high 59-60'c compare to the 1st core which 49-50'c sweat.gif

i think yas is older batch. newer batch of e4 (especially those 06xx) tend to be better clocker. neway, i'm runnun mine @ 2.4GHz only it's more than enuf for me, time for 2GB bro... brows.gif

p/s: wat if u just stress d core w/ lower temp? will d hotter core effected? nod.gif

core 0 (36'c) & core 1 (40'c)

prime core 0
core 0 (41'c) & core 1 (41-42'c)

prime core 1
core 0 (43'c) & core 1 (52-53'c)

ever tried burnin core1 1st? if i'm not mistaken bro ah_paul tried before (burnin d stuborn core) coz he had silmilar problem. he managed to hit 2.7 w/ 1.425v iirc. smile.gif

for dually i think heat is d barrier for higher clock, d amount of juice comes second... biggrin.gif

just hit a new record with my old sempron 2500 E6 socket 754:

default speed at 1.4GHz.
by lowering my RAM speed (which hurt alot in performance) im able to get 2.250GHz.

Hi there...
I try to run CPU-Z on my computer and it did but i have a few question. How come my PC never sate any name for the "Code name"?

This goes the same for the memory. In the Memory tab, mine only shows the type and size thats all.. didnt show the frequency and other stuff.... i wonder...
Do you have to register first to have all these features?

no, u dont need to register. all u hv to do is to go to http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and download the latest version. i hv mine updated once there is a new version out, is like 2-3 months/1 new version.

not necessarily but recommended. to be on d safe side better not as u mite risk burnin not only d mobo or chip, other peripherals mite involved as well. sweat.gif

for now.. i already 24/7 for nearly 4 month(one sem).. not a prob happen.. just when i overclock a bit, the mobo did boot up.. only BSOD.. need to reset cmos.. then can reboot.. so my real q, do i need to buy adapter for 20 to 24 pin for overclocking.. b4 this using msi k8n neo2 ---> overcloak a bit no prob one.. can reach 2.3Ghz on air easily..
