http://www.classdaudio.com/ti-amplifier-mo...plifier-module/

I ady got the board, but no matter how good I am, I'm not able to pack all the features from Marantz HD-AMP1, adding DAC, preamp, volumne control, remote control etc. is very hard for me sweat.gif

You can actually get pre boards with multiple inputs and volume control. Even has remote and LCD screen too. For DAC implementation just use the DAC output as one of the pre inputs. The pre boards shouldn't be too expensive, probably $40-60

Edit**
If you're interested I actually found a china manufacturer that can customize the 4 channel names if you don't want the standard "CD, AUX, DVD,... etc" labels.

Ok, to put in simple, forget about preamp, DAC, and other volume stuffs, yesterday I'm trying to connect the new board, with existing power supply & transformer, when open, omg smoke!!! sweat.gif

Today may try to change the toroidal wires connection to generate lower volt, the current setting is around 70volt, which is more than the new board need, it's only need less than 50volt rclxub.gif

It does not power hungry as Dynaudio, but every speakers sound better with a little bit more power, even just a little, great for low to high volume, stable and mantap sound thumbup.gif

Just bought a matching color PM8005 for my NA8005.

PM8005 + NA8005 = Very natural music sound, low freq very smooth, smoother than PM6005. thumbup.gif

I know the picture looks weird where the PM8005 looks way bigger than NA8005. It is not due to wrong angle. The fact is... PM8005 indeed much bigger than NA8005... And it is also very heavy.

Something is weird and I do not understand;

Setup A - Lossless PCM Music wave files @ NAS ==> LAN ==> HiMedia Q10 Pro (max vol to max bit transfer) ==> co-axis digital ==> NA8005 (as DAC) ==> PM8005 (Source Direct) ==> KEF Q700

Setup B - Lossless PCM Music wave files @ NAS ==> LAN ==> NA8005 (use music server function) ==> PM8005 (Source Direct) ==> KEF Q700

How come setup B give way better sound than setup A? It should be the same as both setup are using the NA8005 DAC, thus should be same result right? The volume is identical from both setup.

The setup B clearly better with much more details. Is it possible the NA8005 actually add some modifications aka ajinomoto to the sound? But if it does, usually has sub-effects, which I did not notice any.

Any1 has any idea?
