I think Silver series are more British signature, more B&W similar, more compatible with basically everything.

The Gold series sound are different, maybe due to the too sensitive high freq response. Imagine if you use bright amp and cables to drive it.. after an hour listening can get headache due to over Ajinomoto (too much excitement)

Monitor audio gold sound is very refine but the current new version is not that nice anymore. I do love the platinum PL300 very much

This seem make sense in my setup. With bare wire on both end, sound is lot more fresher, better decay and macro/microdynamic. Music and vocal turn out more flesh and blood. Because of that I can reposition my speaker again to further optimize the sound.

The Gold series sure good. But the sound signature is a little bit off standard British signature that I used to. Personal taste might be different. It is basically like judging beauties. Some people has standard definition of how standard lenglui should looks like. it is why some thing these girls are pretty and etc..

I am having 2x system with biwiring.. with great results.. But when I tried using just one pair without biwring, I should consider myself demanding with sensitive ears, but still cannot tell the differences in sound.

You may need to check your cable plug termination condition. The soldering or welding job can bring significant effect on the sound due to signal passes thru the joint.

I was not able to hear any different when my cable with locking banana plug on my bi-wireable speaker either thru stock jumper or upmarket jumper wire for many years. Until my curiosity caused me to try bare wire connection. I removed the plug from my cable and I tried on the speaker end first and listened for few months then follow by amp side. Now I am using bi-wire. I am plenty sure the improvement happened on my setup is not psychological effect. My cable is mogami 3104 which I had been using for many years. I think if speaker cable is not audiophile exotic expensive type can try try.

clicked [Where to buy] but no authorized dealer in Malaysia.
The nearest authorized dealer is in Singapore : AV One https://av1group.com.sg/

Two question in my mind:
1) If stylelaser selling a lot of Monitor Audio speakers, why Monitor Audio website does not list stylelaser as the authorized dealer in Malaysia?
2) Can I order online from AV One? will they able to send the product to Malaysia by EMS, or other courier (Gdex, Skynet, citylink....etc)?
I know I can ask AV One, but I actually no planning to make a purchase so I better don't ask AV One directly.
I ask the question here just in-case if anyone know and care to answer my curiosity.

marantz output is quite good from network streaming /internet radio. but not the front USB port (diff circuit).
rear USB port i tried from HDDAC1 (belongs to close fren). he not yet spend time for choose the best driver, best mode seriously. just normal feel.

i noticed that it cant output mastery quality from tidal, max at 16bit only via heos 😭. thus i need to on my pc for it, it sound so much better tho because it can activate tidal's own surround which i think the best thing ive heard of in my life
