i heard the revised salary fer BDO and PWC's fresh grad are RM2.7k, why EY is lower than these firm???

BDO is lower. BDO is offering RM 2300 for freshies. RM 2700 is for only performing students and you are darn good.

All these are just rumours. Sigh, I wonder who's the culprit who started this. FYI, PwC's staff is NOT PAID at RM2.7k for freshies, and I don't think other firms are paying that HIGH too though, unless in exceptional cases for other firms (I think... I'm not too sure for other firms)

So, did u know how much PWC's revised salary really is?

Everyone seems to be talking about the salary range for the audit division etc. What about the salary for those in HR? How much is their basic salary? Would they be getting the same pay as those from the other division?

Between RM2,100 to RM2,400... depending...

pwc got 2.7 meh? hmm. anyone going for july assessments?

aiyoh. . pay all in the same range - + and minus RM50/100 before you think of bonus policy, benefits, overtime, study program and leave. Should look for the firm that gives u the best training and development, promotion prospect, overseas secondment, work enviroment etc. After that still undecided, look for where your frens are, location etc

Don't know why ppl nowadays so scared of hard work- we should be scared of work if no potential to develop or learn. Thats why ppl try big firm first so they do not have to change job after 2 years. Some more some big firm give discount on your expereince cos the smaller firm all mainly small jobs and maybe no experience with MNCs and plcs. What is discount- maybe 2 years in small firm - job offered is equivalent to starting 2nd year (lose one year in process but still hgher pay).
Be brave try something that will challenge u to do you best lah. In school can do anything why suddenly so scared? So many go thru oredy. Try lah. Good luck to all.

Hmm... That's not too bad. If it gets too tough in audit, maybe can switch to HR or something. LOL.

do u guys know whats the difference between "business advisory services" dept and "business risk solution" dept under RAABS in EY? as in what do they do ? the scope of their work

this is a myth. pls don't use this as a judgment to choose a job. i'm working in one of the big 4s and the OT/claims they give is a joke. it's basically dictated by seniors, managers or who-knows-who of higher ups available. even though you're working OT practically everyday, seniors would generally send you an e-mail with the timesheet "guiding" you how you should key in your claims and OT for the 1st half or 2nd half of the month; which may average only once or twice a week(most of the time, it's zero). so, if you're genuinely working hard(which means OT all the time), you're out of luck with whatever claims you may want to have. what does this type of culture cultivate? well, put yourself in that shoe and see what you'll start to think/do.

Business Advisory Services (BAS) does more advisory work such as PMO, Business Risk Services (BRS) is more on risk management, so they cover more on internal audit work for clients.

just send in ur application if u got good results.. they'd hire u .. got a fren of mine get in PWC... although EY also offered her..
