Dear all,

I had sent my application for a position with PwC through their online application last week. PwC response to me through 1 of the channels saying there will be a PwC recruiter contact me. But until now there is no any update, should i call PwC to ask for the status or should I wait longer?

Thanks...

No, the IT staff here are lousy and horrendously stupid. They like to call themselves as "support" and "Helpdesk" but in reality they are anything but that!

Oh, and they go back at 5.30pm sharp. If staff have computer problems after that, good luck to them.

Depends on the size of the organisation and the scope of work. There is no "market rate".

Example, you have 7 yrs experience, you join single company they offer you RM5k? You can join a shared services group and they might offer you RM6-7K? Depending on your scope of work. If you do only compliance maybe not very high. If you are one-leg-kick then maybe more.

All depend on your negotiating skill and who is hiring you.

Tax managers pay can range from RM5k - RM10K depending on the nature of work you have to do, and the size of your company
Tax executives pay can range from RM3K - RM6K depending on the work and company size too.

Hey there guys,

Anyone working in Big4 and at the same time doing ACCA (self-sponsored, not sponsored/bonded by the firm) ?

I would like to know for those who are doing ACCA (self-sponsored, not sponsored/bonded by the firm ), are they entitled to study leave (not annual leave) ?

Thank you!!

One question always came into my mind, whenever I think of staying long in this assurance field
which is What is the salary range for

1) Salary partner
2) Principal
3) Senior manager

of every Big4 and medium firms? I'm not asking about their profit-sharing, just wish to know their fixed remunerations.

I believe the coming peak period for Deloitte, KPMG and PwC certain depts gonna be a miserable nightmare to even think of, what you guys gonna do? Even myself seeing an almost impossible uphill climb now...

SM around > RM10k.
Dir/Pri > RM15k
Partner ??? depends on risk gua

Peak .......don't care la. One thing an ex-senior advise "Just do your work like there is nothing to lose anymore, the worst they can do for you is to make you resign". As I wont be there for long term, the firm doesnt have much bargaining power over me. Lucky finish my prof exam first, phew.

Peak period is actually working at a much faster rate with shorter deadline and work longer hours. Simply put you need to put 4X speed on your work but off course off-setted slightly by working until morning everyday.
